The crack of dawn was spreading in the skies when Roa woke up with a terrible headache. She winced as she felt her head. Her eye sockets hurt whenever she moved her eyes, her tongue felt hot in her mouth and her body was radiating feverish heat.

She was just hoping she didn't come down with a worse temperature at a time like this...

A time like..

But she also didn't mention it because she didn't want to worry Jungkook. Besides he had to leave anyway. The effects of the drug were mild on her, since V did not leave a stronger pill to dilute with the water. It was just a mild fever, nothing worse.

(It could have gotten worse though)

He wished he knew what he was doing.

He was so confused. He was supposed to kill her. He kept repeating that mantra as if working on self-hypnosis, but he kept breaking out of it.

Today was the last day, he made up his mind, no matter what, I must do it tonight.

He couldn't believe how pathetically unprofessional he was being.

He didn't understand what was wrong with him and why he was risking his job for a random girl out of the thousand many people he had kill.

The first girl he gets and he's failing this horribly.

It was good Mr. Jung drank and partied so much yesterday, that he hadn't called V yet since he had passed out after stoning himself stupid and spending the night swimming his obese and diabetic butt in a pool of champagne.

Jungkook would leave tonight as well, it will give V good opportunity to do it more slickly. He thought. Not realising he was just making excuses. It had never mattered who was around before, this was just him making excuses.

V was back at the fire-escape. Now his usual place where he sat and watched Roa with eyes that were burning with all the passion to sweep her off her feet, but he lived in denial.

He will sweep her off her feet only to sweep her into a grave. And bury her there. Nothing less, nothing more.

That's what he thought, but as the girl was out watering her plants, wearing a pretty white Captain Jack Sparrow shirt tucked into her black jeans, hair in loose princessy braids with dark wavy bangs silkily tumbling down her eyebrows and by her ears...and those soft lips...

Wait. What was the job? Did he take the pen drive, yet? He needed to collect the diary first. What if it was crucial evidence too? She was making a big fuss out of it, so it must mean it has something in it there that V must see for himself to be sure.

As he was busy thinking so, something made the blood freeze in his veins.

His hands felt like the blood had contracted in his flesh and turned to ice. Turned to a torrent of needles flooding his veins.
