Hello guys! It's Levi and I have to say, this is my first time writing a DekuBaku fanfic so....yeah! I have read a lot and just wanted to do some, so here we are.
This chapter is mainly to address things about the characters!
In this, Izuku is around 5'9 and Katsuki is 5'7.
The thing with Izuku is that he never got a quirk from DadMight, he was just a late bloomer.
His quirk is Reprimand which has the same concept of Izuku's new quirk in season 5, Blackwhip.
The only difference is that it's green, not black.
The thing about Katsuki and Izuku's past is complicated.
In this, Katsuki never bullied Izuku. Katsuki just happened to know Izuku because their mothers were best friends.
Katsuki was popular, Izuku always looked up to Katsuki.
Katsuki never noticed Izuku which made Izuku love him a lot more.
Of course, Izuku got bullied in his middle school years for having manifested a quirk so late but never by Katsuki.
Katsuki would pop in to help him sometimes but most of the time, he wasn't there.
Now don't get mad at Katsuki saying that he's a douchebag because he never helped Izuku.
The problem was then he never KNEW about it. He saw it sometimes and even asked Izuku if he needed Katsuki to tell the teachers but Izuku said no.
The thing with Izuku was that he wouldn't want to ever inconvenience Katsuki so he stayed away. To everyone else, he was cocky.
He put up a front pretending he was so great so more people would like him and support him, he was also very kind to people.
So Izuku was cocky yet Kind.
Now with Katsuki, he was chill but had a brutal temper. Katsuki was hot-headed but not really cocky. The reason I didn't make him as smug as he is in the anime is because it doesn't go with their backstory.
Katsuki never knew Izuku and decided to keep it that way because of how awkward it would be to try and get closer to him (considering how much Izuku avoided Katsuki)
Now we got that out of the way, let's move onto the actual story!
