The next morning I woke up to find the tiny baby Fawkes pecking at my face. He was a lot bigger than he was last night and now had red feathers which looked a lot better than the ash color ones from before. Then I made a decision even after all the stuff that happened last night I am not going to let it ruin my day. So I pushed it to the back of my mind even though that might not be the best strategy. I hopped out of bed, brushed my dark red hair and my teeth and put on a pair of jeans and a blue T-shirt that had a famous wizarding band called the Weird Sister. I put my plant on the top of my dresser, then put on the necklace Lysander gave me for my birthday. Lysander and his twin brother Lorcan are my best friends. I walked downstairs carrying my trunk with Fawkes flying behind me. When I walked into the kitchen Albus and James were dressed and talking but they stopped immediately looking at me. Our parents must have told them what happened because they both seemed worried.
"Good morning, is your trunk ready?" My mom asked me while she handed me a piece of toast. Then looking at me she said. "Oh, lily you look great." She smiled, her brown eyes x rayed me.
"Thank you, Yes, I have everything." I told her then I sat down. James and Albus immediately got out of their seats and sat on either side of me and wrapped their arms around me giving me a bear hug. I could trust Albus with any secret and I knew he would never tell. James was the most protective brother anyone could ask for. I felt really safe while we sat there eating breakfast and I knew I always would when James and Albus were around. It was an oddly quiet morning. We walked to Kings Cross which was only twenty minutes from Grimmauld Place. Dad told us stories about staying in Grimmauld place during the summer when he was younger. It was the base for the Order Of The Phoenix. The Order Of The Phoenix was a group of wizards who fought Voldemort the darkest wizard in the world. My dad was the one who killed him and Voldemort killed my Grandparents when my dad was a baby and tried to kill him too but dad survived. We walked into Kings Cross and it was extremely busy. I was afraid to let go of my parents hands, not because of last night, but because I did not know what it would be like without them. All my life i have watched cousins and siblings leave for Hogwarts. I am the youngest of the Potter- Weasley clan. We stopped at a barrier between platform nine and ten, that is the entrance to platform 9 ¾.
"James and Albus you go first, then Lily, Harry and I." Mum said. We all went through the barrier in the order she said. Then we saw Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron; they both looked at Fawkes and I. I looked away and dad helped me put my trunk onto the train. Still clutching their hands I turned to face my parents. I have never lived without them.
"Mum, Dad." I addressed them. "I love you, I will write you letters all the time and I will be alright." Then I gave them both huge hugs, then letting our hands fall. My dad stopped me.
" Lily, you are my strong, brave, smart little girl I don't know what the future will hold. No matter what you need to know you have a whole family to support you."
"Love you too!" They called. "Lily, remember you are invited to tea with Hagrid on friday." Then the train turned around the bend and they vanished from sight. I grabbed my trunk and started to search for the twins and Hugo. It was not hard to find them; there were only a few compartments up all three of them waiting for me to come.
