the crowd was dying down and bodies were leaving the floor while there was a pause between songs. individuals leave while others stray off to the side, waiting for the line at the bar to die down.

dream got his hands back to work, mixing combinations of alcohol that sent the customers into their own euphoric fantasy. they order exotic drinks, shots, and the occasional water to wash it all down. to wash away the spit from someone else's mouth, cleanse the heat traveling down their skin from the warm environment the club preserved.

the line kept getting shorter, and dream thought he was done with serving for another good few minutes until he turned around to spot the stunning brunette only a countertop away from his body.

the blonde's breath hitched and his throat seemed unable to produce a sound as the shorter male gave him a slight smile, his chocolate eyes sparkling with a foreign interest as he stared at the stunned bartender.

"a drink, please. surprise me."

his voice rang through dream's ears, forcing him to fall into a trance as the thick british accent smoothly spoke a request to him. the blonde nodded his head, turning to grab a glass and begin whipping together a drink.

he could go with something sweet, maybe something fruity. perhaps a tropical drink, or maybe something that would remind him of a winter night by a campfire.

dream let out a nervous breath, pouring together his favorite tropical drink and adding a cute little paper umbrella to the top. he spun back around, approaching the brunette across the counter and offering him the drink.

the shorter inspected the drink, his eyes trailing curiously down the glass. he dragged a finger slowly down it before wrapping his hand around the glass, taking a sip.

"mmm," he groaned as the drink filled him with the relaxing, familiar burning sensation in the back of his throat. "you've got good taste, handsome."

dream felt his face blush more than it was before at the name. his skin tickled, his eyes glossing over as he watched the brunette swallow the thick liquid with heavy eyes.

"oh yeah?" dream replied in a deep breath, raising a cautious brow in the boy's direction.

the brunette must have known what he was doing when he dragged his tongue across his lips to clean the excess alcohol off of his mouth slowly. it was driving dream crazy, his stomach pooling with warmth just at the sight of the dainty boy before him, looking so damn hot with his small, barely noticeable seductive actions that drove the blonde absolutely wild in the head.

"yeah," he smiled again, his lips pulling apart to reveal his sharp smile closer this time. his pretty pink lips curled as his teeth peeled from behind them, his eyes squinting and the mascara he wore smudging slightly on his bottom lash line. "what's your name?"

"dream. what is yours?"

"george," he hummed, sitting down on the nearby stool, wrapping his fingers around the glass as he set it between his hands.

dream smiled at the name. it had a nice ring, it seemed to suit the male well.

"you looked like you were having fun out there," dream commented, leaning his elbows against the counter to relax into conversation.

"i was," george nodded with another sip. "i saw you were watching me."

dream let out a flustered chuckle, shrugging his shoulders quickly. "i watch everyone. it's entertaining."

george slowly nodded his head again, almost unconvincingly. "so you didn't think i was attractive?"

dream's eyes peeled wider at the question. his mouth opened to come up with an answer, but his voice disappeared out of his body. he couldn't tell the truth, but he didn't want to lie.

george's lips curled into a laugh at the blonde's reaction. "i'm kidding with you, dream."

dream closed his mouth with an embarrassed laugh, bringing his hand up to scratch awkwardly at his neck with a flushed smile.

"yeah, of course."

george gave another flirtatious smile before finishing his drink, sliding the glass back over to the blonde.

"do you come here often?" dream asked, taking the glass and beginning to wash it out in the small sink, setting it to the side for better cleaning later. he already knew the answer to the question, since he knows everyone who walks in and leaves the club, but he didn't want to seem like a total creep to the guy.

"no," he paused, thinking for a second as his eyes scanned dream's body. it was subtle and quick, but dream was never one to miss such small moments, especially when talking with someone as attractive as george. "but i will now."

dream felt his lips pull at the corners from the answer. whether the brunette was coming for him or just for the exciting club with it's music and friendly nature, it still made him happy that he would be able to see the boy again sometime.

"i'm glad," dream smiled warmly. it was genuine, even if george would figure he just wanted the money from tips for serving drinks to more people every night that he worked.

"you made me a good drink," george hummed thoughtfully. "what days do you work? i'd love to get another mystery combination from you..."

dream's heart fluttered at such a simple sentence that came out of george's mouth. the way his thin lips moved as he talked, the genuine and curious glint in his eyes that exposed his desperation for more of dream, even if it was just for the good alcohol mixed with good service.

"i work saturdays, tuesdays and friday's." dream said. "though, weekdays are less packed, although i'm sure you may enjoy the people in the crowd to dance with. i know i would."

george nodded his head along with dream's words, his bottom lip grazing his teeth as he bit onto it subconsciously.

"i'll try out a week day," george decided. "would give me more time with you. less people at the bar."

dream blinked, forcing himself to smile and nod instead of staring dumbfounded.

"oh, and here's your tip," george piped up, pulling out his wallet and closing his hand with the money clasped inside. he hovered it in the air, waiting for dream to slide his hand under and allow the money to fall into his palm.

george opened his hand, resting his own palm into dream's for a split moment before sliding his hand away, allowing his fingertips to graze across the blonde's.

dream could feel his breath just growing more faint by the second. he felt as if he could pass out from being so overwhelmed by someone at once.

"$20?" dream gasped. "no, i can't take this. a tip is, like, $2."

george shrugged. "i dont have anything less then a 20. besides, i said you made me a good drink, and i meant it." he noted, sliding his wallet back into the pocket of his tight, purposely ripped jean shorts.

without another word, he turned on his heels, retreating towards the exit of the club.

dream was left standing at the bar, near closing time, frozen in time as he stared at the wad of cash planted in his hand.
