"he won't stop knocking" hannah complained "good, hopefully he bruises his knuckles" i said
"you're gonna have to face him sooner or later" hannah reminded "i know" i said "can you do that right now? his knocking is annoying" hannah asked
"fine" i groaned walking towards my front door
"hey" jacob sighed, i didn't say anything, i just looked at him
"can you say something, please?" jacob asked "something" i said "that's not funny, nai" jacob said
"neither is you hangin' out with your ex" i said "guess we're not as funny as we thought" i added
"hear me out, okay?" jacob asked "i'll hear you, i just won't listen" i said leaning on my door frame
"please don't give up on me yet" jacob begged "already did" i whispered "you're the only one who stuck around this long" jacob added
"and i can't afford to lose you" jacob continued "i know hanging out with her was a mistake-" jacob tried to continue
"yeah, but you did it anyways" i scoffed "you knew i'd be upset and you still did it" i added "stop interrupting me, please" jacob begged, i just rolled my eyes
"you're the only one who understands me fuck, you understand me more than i understand myself" jacob said "and i love you" jacob added
"how can you love me? we only dated for what? 5 hours?" i asked "i've loved you for a long time, nailea" jacob answered
"and i don't plan on stopping anytime soon" jacob said "you don't love me" i shook my head
"you don't know how i feel about you" jacob argued "words can't even explain how happy you make me!" jacob added
i swallowed the lump in my throat, thinking of what to say "just leave me alone jacob" i sniffled "what?" jacob asked
"i'm sorry" i said before walking back in my house "nai! please!" jacob cried, it hurt me to hear him cry so i went back to my room
as soon as i got in my room i hugged hannah, telling her everything that just happened, she tried cheering me up and it kinda worked
"it's okay honey" christina reassured her crying son, jacob went home crying about nailea and he just needed his mom
"i'm such an idiot" jacob cried "no you're not" his mom said "i shouldn't have answered serena" jacob said "i should've... told her that i had a girlfriend" he cried
"you'll get nai back" christina said, though jacob didn't believe her "when?" he asked "time will tell baby, time will tell" his mom answered
