Cain: *confused*. About what, Zafir?

Zafir: Your previous treatment of your brother, Shakmeh. Because, quite frankly, you were overly harsh and I agree with him about most of what happened being YOUR fault.

Cain: How is him being psychotic MY fault?

Shakmeh: For one thing, you locked me up and threw away the key as if you were ashamed of me.

Khonsu: You also yelled that you no longer saw him as your brother in front of how many people despite his pleas? Knowing your acceptance and approval of him was his entire world.

Zafir: Not to mention, you never ONCE asked Shakmeh what HE wanted and did not even listen to what he had to say.

Cain: I...was NOT ashamed of YOU, Shakmeh! Only what you had done! And had become! I will admit I did not realize how selfish I was being. And you knew fully well what the law was!

Shakmeh: I did not want to break it! As a matter of fact, it was XERAH'S idea! I NEVER meant to hurt innocents! I did not even realize what I had done until it was too late! Do you have any idea how much the sight of human blood on my hands when I regained full control mortified me?!

Khonsu: We only wanted to protect people! We are half-Demon biologically anyways! I just kept most of it contained after it awakened for years! Whenever Shakmeh goes into a Devouring Frenzy, it becomes nearly impossible for him to differentiate between the Darkness of enemies and that of allies! We DID order them to avoid Shakmeh's patrol areas so they would not get caught up as soon as we realized what was happening! They just would not listen.

Zafir: Laias really should have kept her mouth shut. Going behind your back and telling Cain was rude.

Shakmeh: I should have just listened to Vildred-san and Kayron.

Cain: Look Shakmeh and Khonsu. I really am sorry for everything I did, otuoto.

Shakmeh: And WHY should I believe you? After everything you have done to me.

Cain: Because I am sick of watching you hurt like this. I honestly do not expect you to believe me. Please just give me a chance, little brother.

Zafir: What do you say, Shakmeh? After all, Xerah is the real problem.

Shakmeh: Fine, we will give you a chance. Mess it up, and I take Zafir away and have Lucikiel help me wreck the place.

Khonsu: I have my eye on you.
