Blessed Moments School is the best senior high school for girls in Ghana!
It has always been my dream to become a student of this noble institution after my BECE. Dreams come true only when backed by hard work; I had sleepless nights answering questions of past BECE on all subjects, fasting and praying, trying my best to avoid sin, making sure I had all As in my subjects, reading over my notes after every class and before I slept never went wasted since I got admission into Blessed Moments School in Cape Coast, Ghana.
"Olga!Olga! I have good news for you" my mom said on top of her voice as she tapped me to wake up.
"What's it mom?", I asked as I sat on my bed yawning and stretching.
"The results of the BECE is out and your dream of attending Blessed Moments School has come true", she said as she sat at the edge of my bed.
"O. . .k" I responded half-asleep on my bed.
"Olga! did you hear me? You have been admitted into Blessed Moments School", she said with great excitement in her voice.
At this point, I found myself jumping and dancing on my bed as if Sefa and Mr Drew's E Choke song was being played.
I rushed to the kitchen and ate lot of sweets forgetting I just woke up and hadn't brushed my teeth. I was so happy that I felt like rolling on the flow from one point of Africa to the other.
Mami gave me the latest version of Xbox after taking my bath. I loved to play games a lot. When I was not reading nor sleeping, I was glued to game.
I phoned my brother and dad from Paris and broke the news to them.
"I knew you would make it dear!,daddy is super proud of you, keep it up my girl and congratulations young lady", my dad said upon hearing the good news.
"I hate you sœur" my brother said. "I hate you more frére" I responded since it was our usual greeting.
"Little girl, don't be so happy, don't loss focus and work harder and harder and harder until the word harder starts begging you" he said and ended the call
"Jones wouldn't stop being silly" mummy said returning from the kitchen holding a tray covered with a white flower-designed cotton napkin. She placed the tray on the table and called me to join her on the dining table. My favorite part of the house was the dining hall; there was always something there for the mouth.
On the tray was Fufu with Palmnut soup and mushrooms which was my favourite. I opened my mouth as if
thousands of people were passing through at the same time. I was startled for a while, got up and kissed my mom on her cheeks.
"Mommy, you shouldn't have done all these for my sake, you must be very tired". I said with a concerned face.
"Don't worry dear, it's a great day today, enjoy!"
"You would be leaving for school in the next three days so be preparing" she said and left to her room.
"Just three days? Owww, this is unfair"...."Anyways Blessed Moments School (BMS) get ready to meet Olga Danee!!!!"
