As Hazel heard the sound of departing horse she came to the front porch and saw her grandpa. She took a sword from the weapons kicked by Daejun and shouted, "Grandpa! What is the use of these stupid swords and spears you made? How did you leave that bastard go alive after talking shit about our king Namjoon?". She was fuming in anger due to her grandfather's behaviour.
"Why are you getting angry now Hazel? Our commander said the same thing what you said - 'Why should the war take place? When it is not needed?' " grandpa asked and narrowed his eyes on Hazel.
"Tch.... did i say that there is no need for war? I just asked why the war is happening because i don't know the reason." Hazel replied in low voice and her eyes brimmed with tears.
Grandpa sighed. And said, "Yeah, I was starting to say about the reason behind this war. But this bastard came in between."
Hazel wiped the hot tears ran down her cheeks and said, "Ok now say me grandpa. I'm all ears."
Grandpa again started the tale behind this war.

The reason :
As said before, Kai made a large destruction in his way to home, Shan kingdom. To get revenge, King Jung Hoseok kept preparing for the war thoroughly. It took him 7 long years for preparation. So 3 years before, he finished his preparation and asked King Namjoon to join the army to support him in the war.
King Namjoon demanded that, if he help King Jung Hoseok in this war, he should give Silla Kingdom full freedom and he will not pay any extortion in future.He also demanded the same respect for their TIGER flag like the lion and bunny flag. But his demand was not considered as Goryeo kingdom was busy in war preparation. King Hoseok went to war against Kai without considering or even noticing the demand sent by King Namjoon.
So from that day, King Namjoon stopped paying extortion to Goryeo kingdom.

"This is the reason for the war Hazel. King Hoseok returned to Goryeo just a month before. He took few days rest and started to check the administrative works. And he found out that our King Namjoon didn't pay extortion for 3 years. So he sent allegation to our king's court for talk. Our king refused to pay and bow to King Hoseok. So, now say. Do you think it is right to step back again? Do you think our King Namjoon should bow to King Hoseok? If you say yes, then what is the reason for us living here as people of Silla?" Grandpa asked Hazel.
"I don't know all these right things grandpa. Whatever King Namjoon decides is the correct decision. I beleive him. Who ever talks shit about him should rot in hell. I'm just disturbed that you left that brainless zombie Daejun alive after he ranted bad about our king....!" She threw her hands in air dramatically.
"Yes. Our king is too good for everyone. So thats why he treated this family wrecker Daejun respectively." Grandpa said and snickered.
"What are you saying grandpa? Daejun is the younger brother of King Namjoon right?" She asked doubtedly.
"You are right Hazel. But it is a whole different story. This Daejun is not own brother of King Namjoon. Our old king i.e., king Namjoon's father got seduced in his 50's. As a result, this sickening zombie like bastard named Daejun born. When old king was in his death bed, he said if King Namjoon didn't have a heir, Daejun will be the successor. Untill Our prince Jimin born, he was the Prince of our Silla Kingdom. King Namjoon showered him with so much love and treated him like his own brother. He even gave the commander in army post. But he is a betrayer just like his mom." Grandpa sighed.
