《Messenger from Busan 》

Hoseok and Jungkook reached the shore of Hope city. The sea waves were kept coming to the shore like, they were trying to reach the royal duo. In that shore, there stood a stone sculpture of an elephant and lion. These are carved from natural rocks.

Hoseok went near the rock elephant.

"Jungkook! Did you see this elephant? It looks like a real one right? 30 years before there is no such sculptures were here. Just a big rock was standing here." Hoseok said to Jungkook.

"Ooo! That means the temples there also just rocks during that time?" Jungkook asked with his doe eyes.

"Yes baby. Just like you and me came here today, 30 years before me and my papa came here. You know well about how grandpa is madly in love with art right?" Hoseok smiled at him.

"You are no different in your madness with art dad. Both you and Grandpa are same in this" Jungkook said and giggled.

"Hahaha! But your grandfather was more mad than me. He wished to built a rockcut temple. So we came here. I kept looking at the sky and saw the clouds forming different shapes. I saw a cloud in elephant shape and it gave me an idea. I went to this rock and draw a elephant on it. My appa saw that and hugged me tightly and said, "Hobi dear, You gave me a good idea. We will change all these Rocks here into sculptures and temples." He said like a mad man. From that moment for 20 years, the work of sculpting and constructions kept going. But then I had to prepare for the war and go to Shan kingdom....." saying this he stopped and went into a deep thought.

Jungkook noticed how his father become silent. "Dad, i guess you gave your name to this city because you stopped the 20 years of continuous work" jungkook teased and thought it will lighten his father's mood.

Hearing that Hoseok laughed out loud and said, "No kookie! As i became the reason for the creation of this city, father named this place after my name. Many king will born in future with the name Hoseok. But my nick name Hope will only belong to me. So, he named this city as Hope.How much my dad loved me?" Hoseok said and again went into deep thoughts.

Hearing this, Jungkook pouted and said, "Yes. Grandpa loved you so much. But you are not like Grandpa. If you were like him, you would have never agreed to send Taemin hyung to Jeju island". And his eyes glistened with tears thinking about his hyung who is now in a warfield.

"Baby bun, listen to me. In my young age, I had so many dreams. Many of those dreams was accomplished. But only one was never fulfilled. That is, i wished to lead a navy for an expedition. But grandpa didn't allow me. Then after ascending this Goryeo's throne, my dream became an impossible one. So, atleast Taemin can fulfill it right? So i send him there. If i have any other child to love, then i will surely send them for navy expedition." Hoseok said.

Hearing this Jungkook once again pouted and said, "Then that means you didn't love me that much....." Before he can even complete the sentence, Hoseok said, "Baby bun. I love you so much. More than this kingdom, more than my own life. I wish to send you dear. But you are my only love and fragile innocent baby. I can't trust this outside world."

"If i was strong and not that naive as you say, did you think i will let you sit on the throne?  I would have pushed you in jail and i will be ruling it as a Queen. Hyung is the real innocent here. That's why he went to that damn island." Jungkook joked like this with father and ran to see the sceneic beauty of HOPE city.

After few minutes Hoseok went to  call Jungkook. "Baby bun. Come on. People will be waiting for us." He called Jungkook and made his way out of the shore. Soon he felt slim yet delicate hands hugging him from side and a smile took place in his face without even him knowing.

Jungkook nuzzeled his face in the crook of his father's neck and said, "Daddy! Who worked behind these beautiful work?"

Hoseok said, "Kim jaehun. He was the one responsible for this beautiful creation. But he faced many struggles in his late life. So, a few years before he passed away."

Jungkook thought something and said, "Dad i know him, his son....." but Hoseok cut him off saying, "look a horse is coming."

Actually he said it to divert the conversation. But really a horse was coming towards them. The man on the horse got down and bowed to the King and Prince.

"Commander Habin sent this letter to you my king." The man said.

Hoseok didn't bother to open it and see. He said, "I have already sent the orders regarding to this yesterday itself. You can leave now. " The man bowed again and left.

Jungkook shook his head and said, "Dad! Is this how you rule? You didn't even see what was written in this letter!".

Hoseok laughed and said, "I guess you didn't belive the powers your father have. Shall i say what is written in this letter? Habin said that Silla's Prince have made a conspiracy against us and he decided to attack us on full moon day. Now check whether it is right or wrong."

Jungkook took the envelope and opened it. When he read that, he was mind blown because Hoseok said the exact thing.

"Dad! Teach the magic now. I also want to know how you did that!" Jungkook showed his best puppy eyes to Hoseok and clinged to his arms.

Hoseok patted his head lovingly and said, "Sure honey. I'll one day teach you everything I know."

Hoseok got on the Horse and Jungkook got on the Carriage. When they were going to the city's enterance, Jungkook said, "Why that stupid Prince is doing this? He can be Happy by ruling his country under your leadership right? Dad! Don't let him go that easily. Punish him really well."

Hoseok said, " Well baby bun. I'm not planning to leave him just like that. Surely i will punish him black and blue according to his doings."
