In these 3 years, Jimin always thought about Jin, Monk, Yoongi, Hazel, That couple's child which was not born during his depature, the green eyed boy. In this category, Daejun is also a person who he remembered.
When ever he thought about him, he will feel ugly goosebumps. He felt disgusted by that man. It was clear as day light that his own Uncle Daejun backstabbed him on the day of the revolt. Daejun never came for his aid, when he promised for huge army to support the revolt. And he even got the courage to expose him to Commander Habin. He learnt about everything from the soldiers who are taking him as captive.
So when ever the thought of Daejun crossed his mind, he felt pure hatred and disgust towards the said man.
So, when Daejun was standing infront of him, should we explain how he felt?
Daejun noticed how the Gem merchant was looking at him with shock. "Why are you so shocked? I heard you guys talking about thief. By chance did you thought me as thief?" He asked while laughing at his own humorless joke.
In the mean, Jimin adjusted himself with this unexpected situation. "I don't know how this country's thief look like. But I have heard that under Emperor Hoseok's rule, there is no thief. So you can't be a thief." Jimin said.
"Eventhough you are a foreigner, you speak too much. Which country are you from? What is your name? Why did you come to this country?" Daejun questioned him.
"If you reallly want to know, then I will tell you. My nane is Jihun. I came here for Gem stone trade." Jimin replied him.
"Ooo! So you came here for Gem trade? But what are you doing by calling every single artist to a scheduled area and speaking some secrets?? Don't you know that it is a crime to take the artist to other countries without King's permission?" Daejun asked him suspiciously.
"As I said earlier, I'm a foreigner. So I didn't know these rules sir. Why are questioning me? I don't know who you are!" Jimin said calmly.
"You don't know me? Good: let me introduce myself. I'm the youngest brother of King Namjoon who passed in the Gwachang battle. Currently I'm the commader of Silla troops." Daejun said and looked at the gem merchant's face for any kind of emotions. But he couldn't find anything.
"Even if you have never heard about me, Didn't you heard about the heroic death of King Namjoon? Which country are you from?" Daejun asked.
Jimin acted like he was thinking and calmly said, "Yes! I have heard about King Namjoon and his heroic acts. I'm from Mayura Island and now it is ruled by King Namjoon's son Jimin. He is our King. I'm under his rule. So please don't speak ill about my King's father infront of me."
Daejun face showed a little amusement but he quickly covered it. He said, "Ooo! What a great loyal citizen! It's a fortune to see you. That's why I feel this irge to keep you near me. What is your name?"
"Jihun"
"Jihun - wow what a lovely name! Let it slide. Did Prince Jungkook asked you to come to the palace for gem?" Daejun asked.
"Prince Jungkook? Who you are talking about?" Jimin now asked with true confusion.
"Now a boy talked to you in a carriage right! He is Prince Jungkook." Daejun said.
"He is Prince Jungkook's friend Sehyun right?" Jimin asked again.
"Oho! Did he said that lie to you? Perfect son for the dad. I'm sure that you are not from this country. Or maybe you are someone who is sent out of this country...." Daejun said while murmuring the last parts to himself.
Then suddenly he said, "You said Jimin is your King right? Did he know about the accident happened to his mother Queen Jin?"
Jimin face twisted into horror. Daejun smirked mentally for finally getting the expected result. Jimin who was clam all the time now becane restless. "What? What happened to Queen Jin?" He asked Daejun with sorrow and anger.
Daejun just smiled at him. Now he clearly know the true identity of Jihun.
At the same time, very near them, they heard people shouting, "Praises to the King who defeated the shan kingdom, Praises to our King who conquerd our hearts".
Jimin realised that Emperor Hoseok is coming. An unexpected, surprising visit.
