Without any idea of how two persons were following them, Yoongi entered the Royal Garden which is now closed along with Hazel. In the middle of their journey, he kept saying like, "Hazel, That is the tree where Queen and King used to sit when they visit here. See, did you see that little pond over there? That is where Jimin learned to swim for the very first time." He kept blabbering excitedly.
Hazel kept saying, "Yoongles please be silent." She kept warning him.
The birds in the garden, get startled with their voice and some birds started to make sound. "Shhhhh..... be quiet." Yoongi said to them.
"Han..... all your courage will be shown only to the birds that are sleeping in the midnight. If you see a enemy with a sword, you will be running like a chicken." Hazel said and rolled her eyes.
This shuted Yoongi's mouth for a minute. When they reached the backside of the Palace, "Hazel, should we go inside and see everything? Or should we see our work?" Yoongi asked.
"The lamp will go off soon. Yonzen also there with my grandma. Lets go to that temple and finish our work quickly and get back home." Hazel said.
"Ok, come on let's go." Yoongi guided her to the temple they were speaking about.
This temple is a famous one during the time of King Namjoon. It was situated near the Magnolia Flower garden along with a little pond. There are 3 ways to enter the temple.
1 : We can enter the temple directly from the Palace. This is the main enterance.
2 : This way is a special way. Only the preists and monks can enter in this way. It was on the East side of the temple.
3 : This third way was for the priests to exit. It was on the side of the garden and the door was on the compound wall. Yoongi and Hazel enterd the temple through this way.
They enterd the temple and was awestruck by the beauty of the temple. Yoongi is the one who came back to his senses first. "Sweets, we have no time to admire the sculptures." Yoongi said and dragged her.
They saw a Statue of Buddha at the center of the temple. There was a beautifully golden chest box under the Buddha statue's feet. He took the box and hurriedly made his way out.
"Cupcake, the treasure of our Silla was inside this box. After King Namjoon died in the war, Queen Jin brought it here to hide it. It's a good thing that Emperor Hoseok didn't find it." Yoongi said.
As they entered the garden, the lamp in Hazel's hand went off. "Omo! What shall we do now? The lamp goen off!" Hazel said.
"Be Happy baby cheeks. The lamp gone off after we took this box. Now how shall we go out? We can't walk through the 3rd entry because it is too dark without the lamp. Ok! Come on let's try the 2nd entry. " Yoongi said.
Hazel followed him and soon they reached the 2nd entry. When they got near, they heard voices from the other side of the door. They both stood still.
"Should we believe Daejun's words? How the hell a thief can enter the palace?" Voice1 said.
"He said that he saw the thief entering the palace with his own eyes." Voice2 argued.
"How he know that the thief will escape by this way? There are 2 more ways right?" Voice1 questioned again.
"That culprit will never dare to exit through the palace way. If that culprit didn't exit this way, then I'm sure he will exit by the garden entry. Before that..... Hey see there...." Voice2 said and showed something.
"What is happening there? Many people are coming with flambeaues?" Voice1 asked.
"Daejun is bring men for support to capture the thief." Voice2 said.
Yoongi and Hazel who were hearing this conversation gone pale. They felt their body shiever in utter horror. Yoongi imagined himself being kneeling infront of Emperor Hoseok with the box being caught red handed. He also imagined Emperor saying, "You acted like a innocent infront of me. But you are a bullshit thief?".
He quickly grabbed Hazel's hand and started to run towards the 3rd entry. They struggled to reach the 3rd entry but somehow they did it despite the darkness.
Yoongi placed his ear on the door and waited to sense any sound or voice from the other side. When he confirmed that there is no sound, he opened the door and rushed to the place where he tied his boat.
But when the couple reached the place another shock waited for them. He couldn't see his boat anywhere. "Hazel I guess, I didn't tie the boat strongly. It should be gone on the flow of river. Come on, we should search for it." Yoongi said.
They both ran and their ears soon heard the sound of men running. They heard someone shouting, "There they are! They are running!".
Yoongi and Hazel started to run faster. They got surprised when they saw their boat was tied on a tree root. Do you think it was a right time to stand there in surprise?
Hell no.
The group running behind them got nearer. "God! They are getting near. We are going to get caught with this box. What shall we do?" Hazel started to stress herself.
At that time, The monk came from behind the tree. Amd dragged them behind it. He silenced them. "Shhhh".
Yoongi and Hazel got startled by his sudden appearence. "Sir! Is that you?" Yoongi asked.
"Yoongi! This is not the right time to speak. Give me the box. Or else you will get caught. I will keep this box safe. I will give it you sooner. I promise " the Monk said.
"Give! Give it already" Hazel also rushed him.
Yoongi gave the golden chest box to the monk with much hesitation.
"Hazel, once you helped me to escape from Daejun. So today, I will repay you for that." The Monk said.
And in the next moment he disappeared in the darkness.
Yoongi quickly untied the boat and helped Hazel to get on the boat.
By this time, Daejun also reached the boat with his men.
