After coming out of the bathroom, Naina relaxed her body on the bed, and looked at her husband with a suspicious face. He isn't behaving like an old baby Sameer, he sounds mature and sensible, there is something which she doesn't know about him.

The nurse entered inside to give her medicines, and Sameer was standing beside his wife with a poker face.

"Mrs.Naina Maheshwari." A firm voice startled them, and they saw Inspector Balwinder Singh at the main door.

"Yes Sir?" Naina asked him confusingly.

Balwinder took a round stool, and sat down on it with a smirk on his face. He gestured to Sameer and The Nurse to leave them alone, as he had to interrogate Naina about the entire incident. They quietly went out, and Vishakha was standing outside of the door only to listen to their conversation, but seeing his step-son. She quickly stepped back, and soon Vivek and the rest of the people came near her. She gulped down, wondering how she should eavesdrop on their communication?

"What are you doing here?" Vivek asked his wife in a stern voice.

"I was...I was taking care of Naina." She replied to him nervously.

"By standing outside of her private room?" Tina remarked with a smirk.

"Yes...I was feeling scared for her, because Sameer was inside her room. So." Vishakha said with a sympathetic smile, and Tina just shook her head in disbelief.

Inside the room, Balwinder asked Naina in a soft voice - "you don't have to be scared of anyone, just tell me everything. Ok?"

"I am not even scared sir, my so-called mother-in-law wanted to kill my husband, but I was standing there only, so I ran to save him...and in all that I got injured." Naina said with a simple smile, and Balwinder nodded his head in yes.

"Ok so tell me why would she desire to kill Sameer?" He asked her with an apprehensive face, and She said thoughtfully - "the reason is yet to be discovered, but I feel that She is planning this all for her daughter. Khushi, she wants every property of Sameer and my brother-in-law Rahul in her daughter's name, maybe that's the reason why she wants to kill her stepsons."

"Hmmm...possible, but we can't keep her inside the jail for a long time without any strong proof." Balwinder spoke with a gloomy face, and Naina suggested to him - "Well don't arrest her, I want her to confess everything in front of me, we can do one thing. You can tell everyone that I can't remember anything about last night, so I don't know who tried to kill me. You can't arrest anyone without any proof."

"What?" He screamed out of shock.

"Yes." She said simply.

"But your mother-in-law is accusing Sameer for trying to kill you. She even came to me, and requested me to arrest him, as She is feeling worried for you and your life." Balwinder informed her with a tensed face, and Naina just closed her eyes angrily.

"Ok so you can say that you can't arrest him until the victim, meaning Me, don't tell you that my husband tried to kill me. You want strong evidence against Sameer, then only you can put him behind the bars." She gave him one idea with a nervous smile, and Balwinder looked quite convinced.

"She will not sit idle, she will try to prove that Sameer isn't innocent, and in the meantime We can check her room, and suitcase, we will definitely get some proof, if not then I have one more idea to expose her real face." Naina said further with a straight face, and the Inspector was astonished after listening to her idea. She is really very intelligent and a cunning girl.
