In The Evening, Naina was dressed in a beautiful blouse and lehenga, her long straight dupatta was tucked inside the thin chain, which was wrapped around her flat stomach, the work of embroidery on her outfit was done with a perfect and neat detailing, and her blouse had a single string. She enclosed a heavy delicate necklace, and adjusted her nuptial chain over it. She smiled, noticing a pair of intense eyes staring at her, and started to slide red bangles in her hands. The soft music of her ornaments was accelerating his heartbeats, and He couldn't help but yearn to kiss her deeply. Naina wore her golden stone earrings, and then painted her lips with a sweet shade of strawberry red lipstick.

Sameer had worn a plain black kurta, and kept the sleeves folded till his arms, his messy hair added more charm on his face, and his brown chocolatey eyes enraptured his wife, who was looking at him through the mirror while filling her hairline from Sindoor. He lowered his head immediately, and Naina just smiled in acknowledgment.

They both got ready, and decided to have some quality time with each other by sitting on the terrace. Sameer was rubbing his hands and feet anxiously, and Naina noticed it with apprehension in her eyes. She looked at him worriedly, and asked him - "What happened? You seemed to be tense about something?"

"Ummm no...just feeling quite cold." He replied to her with a small smile, and She understood he was lying to her, because there was a thick line of sweat on his forehead.

"By the way Naina, you never had an affair with anyone?" Sameer asked her curiously.

"No. I never thought about having a boyfriend, my life has been a rollercoaster ride...home to college, college to home. That's it, this was my life, boring and suffocating. I wasn't even allowed to go to the temple, because my so-called step mother had always restricted me from going anywhere except college, she felt I would become bad if I would roam out." Naina replied to him with a fake chuckle, and her eyes were shining with tears.

"Until my real mom was alive, I felt everything like a heaven...she loved me so much that even a slight scratch on my leg used to hurt her deeply, whenever I fall sick, she would have taken care of me like a toddler...She never scolded me even when I broke her favourite cutlery set, her face always had a beautiful smile, I didn't know her love for me was for a short period." She said further with pain in her voice, and Sameer felt deeply bad for his wife.

"Hey please stop crying, sorry for asking you such a stupid question." He pulled her into a side hug, which was full of concern, love, and respect. He softly wiped away her small teardrop, and placed a kiss on her closed eyes.

"I am not crying...I am just missing my mom." Naina spoke in a heavy voice.

"We both are so unlucky that we didn't get the love of our respective mother's, especially you, but we won't ever be like our step-mom...we will provide immense love to our children." She continued speaking with a sweet smile, and Sameer blushed secretly, imagining their future with their children.

"Our children?" He asked her with a sly smile.

"Yeah of course, won't we have our child?" She asked him naughtily.

"Never thought about it." He shrugged off his shoulder, and Naina said with a mischievous smile - "Toh ab soch lo...deri nahin hui hai."

"Chand kab aayega?" Sameer closed the topic, and asked her with a puppy face, while looking up at the dark sky innocently.

"Aapka chand toh kab se aaya hua hai." Naina replied to him smilingly, and He looked at her in surprise.

"I still can't understand how women get dressed in such a heavy outfit on karwachauth, after fasting for the whole day?" Sameer said with a perplexed face, and His wife laughed wholeheartedly.
