Sameer disheartedly went to his car where the driver uncle was waiting for him, looking at his devastated state he asked - "what happened to you sir?"
"Nothing new uncle, the shop owner insulted me and push me out of his shop." Sameer said with a painful smile, touching his forehead and feeling wetness of fresh blood on his finger.
"You should've called me sir, i would've filed an complaint against him." The old man told him with the look of hatred for that ruthless owner, who is rich by money but very poor by heart.
"No uncle, if we will also behave like them, then what difference will be left between him and us?" He said in soft tone, opening the door with difficulty and settling himself on the comfortable seat.
"Can i know why did that man insulted you?" the driver uncle asked, while moving the car to backside, sameer signed and said - "he asked me to make the payment, i offered him the money which tiny miny got for me. He yelled at me saying that it's fake and no one will accept them, i requested him to give me my purchased items, but he throw me out of his shop and in that my forehead got hit with the sharp floor."
"Aapne muje kyu nahi kaha sir payment karne? i have some money in my pocket, mein de deta na." The old man sadly looked him, feeling bad for not able to help this guy who always treated him like a family member.
"Tommorow is my wife's first birthday with me, i thought i can surprise her by decorating our house...but my plan got ruined, and about the money then i want to make her happy by doing something on my own. I don't want to gift her anything from someone's else money or help, she is my angel and it's my responsibility as her husband to surprise her, to make her feel special." Sameer spoke as matter of fact, zipping the mouth of old man who tried to focused on driving.
They reach maheshwari mansion after a tiring and worst road journey, driver uncle pulled the brake as soon as he saw the closed gate. He asked sameer to get out and let him park the car...he nodded and quietly descended down, still hissing in pain.
He was looking the time in his shinchan watch, to realise that after one hour his angel birthday will start.
Sadly, he can't make it special. 💔
Sameer went to the garden and dissapointendly sit down on the bench, trying to not cry, but the humilation he faced today because of his innocence, he can't forget that ever in his life.
"Why god made me so helpless? rahul, dad, mom...tiny miny and everyone can buy anything for themselves, nobody insults them, nobody dare to utter a single word in front of them, then why god chose me only to get humilated everyday? Why can't i live my life simply and happily without anyone's harsh and heart aching words? I am feeling so broken today, till now i never felt so embarrassed and ashamed on myself, i may have heard many bad words about my silliness...but today the feeling of getting insulted is something different, and it's because of naina. Because i failed in giving her surprise, in making her happy, in seeing the most precious smile on her face." Sameer spoke in heavy voice, hating himself for being so obligate and dependent on everyone, how any girl can spend her whole life with a person who can not even purchase a flower for her?
He took out his napkin and gently wipe away the flowing blood, he don't want to see his angel getting worried for him by seeing this patch on his forehead, he saw his son. Bunny, looking at him with morose face, he tenderly caressed his hair and asked - "what are you doing here my baby?"
He pointed at his stomach, as if endeavouring to say him that he had eaten so much today, and so he came in garden to digest his food. Sameer understand with a smile, and told him - "you know, today your father went out to purchase some decorative items, and gifts for your mom. But he is so poor my son, he can not buy anything for your mother."
