Long ago, there was a village. A small village. In this village was a family. One daughter named Julia longed for adventure. One day her mother Elizabeth was ill. Her father Orion told her "Julia I need you to go on a journey. You need to get The Flower of Essence. It's hidden somewhere in the Kingdom of Aeroth. That is the only thing that will make your mother well again." "I'll do it," Julia said excitedly. Julia got a small bag and filled it with apples, baked goods, rice, beans and carried around her waist a pouch of water. She also carried a small brown bag on her back which had the words "Heaven and Earth carry the answers". It was filled with rope, a dagger, bandages, a few herbs and several medium sized stones. She headed out of the small dull cottage she lived in and headed for the woods. She did what she was told.

When she had traveled for 6 hours straight on foot, she stopped. She set her stuff down and laid down on the cold hard ground. She was exhausted. She ate one of the apples she packed and thought 'Maybe I should rest here for tonight, so I can have strength for tomorrow.' In the morning after the hardly peaceful night, there was a beautiful sunrise. Julia woke up barely rested. She packed up her stuff and walked a few paces. To her left she saw a beehive hanging in a tall tree. She picked up a two-foot long stick and climbed as close as she dared. She poked it gently, then quickly ducked. Nothing happened. She then poked it with all her might. The hive fell and broke in two halves. Luckily, the bees were not in there. She took some nearby twigs and started to weave a basket. This started to remind her of her mother, for she is the one who taught her how to weave. She took the dagger from her bag and started to cut from the tree. The tree from which she found the beehive. She cut a thick jagged edge slab of wood. She started to carve something which looked like a rock. She cut a small part of the circular piece of wood to make a lid. This reminded her of her father for he was the one who taught her how to carve wood She collected the honey in this container and put it in the small picnic basket she had woven. Julia then decided she should make several other containers.

After three hours of making small containers from wood she packed everything up. She started walking at a slow pace to preserve her energy. Eventually, the sun started to set. Julia stared at the beautiful sunset, bewildered from never knowing how lovely it looks from down on earth. She put her stuff down and prepared for another restless night. She tried to gather twigs and leaves to soften the hard surface of the earth before she drifted off to sleep. She then gathered as much wood as she could and put it in a pile. She took two stones from her bag and tried to light a small fire. A few times she'd get a small spark. Finally, after trying over twenty times she lit a fairly decent fire. She took the rice from her bag and put it in one of the wooden containers. She put the lid back on and held it near the fire. Once the rice was fully cooked, she ate a small amount of it and put the container back in her bag. She noticed the fire was running low so she put the basket she weaved in the fire. Watching the basket burn was like watching everything she loved being burned to fire and ash.

The sun started to rise in early morning, after a nights sleep. Julia woke up and decided to walk as long as possible and make very few stops. As she started to walk she thought what was being stored in her future. This thought stayed in her mind for the next few hours.

In late afternoon, Julia heard a sudden sound from her left. She heard the sound of swords clanging along with a loud earsplitting scream. The scream sounded as if it came from a girl. As the fight moved to where Julia could see it, she quickly hid in the bushes. There fighting was a girl with long flowing red hair. She had one streak of pink in her hair, but the end looked singed. She had black cat ears along with a tail. She was fighting a boy who had dark brown hair and deep dreamy blue eyes. He was awfully handsome in Julia's opinion. Why were they fighting and who are they?
