Julia and Romara had been traveling for a several hours when the sun started to set. In the distance Julia could see a forest. She hollered out to Romara, "You see that forest over there! We could go there!"

"Are you insane! It's almost dark. No one goes through Ebanenza woods at night! You are just asking to be killed! We just came out of a peaceful woods with fairies and singing birds and....", Romara was yelling. She stopped dead in her tracks.

"And what? What's wrong? Why'd you stop?" , Julia said worriedly. She was scared of what was going on. She thought this just might be their last seconds on earth.

"Shut up! I sense something." , Romara whispered. As she said this a rough and hard noise could be heard from behind them. Romara threw three pointed needles to where the sound came from but, nothing was there. Nothing but deep scratch marks which left it jagged edged.

Out from the bushes, their attacker emerged. He was wearing all leather and had a short beard of black hair which connected to his mustache. His hair was rough and scraggly, yet so neat. He was very tall and slim. He said, "I have come for you in the name of Aeroth. You have killed his son, and he will avenge him, one way or another. If you come with me quietly, I might not hurt your little friend here."

"Sorry, but I don't take orders from murderers." , Romara said proudly.

"Why you little swine!" , the man said angrily, taking several steps towards Romara. He tried making a quick punch, however, Romara blocked it. She then knock him off of his feet and pinned him to the ground with her sword. She then took a small dagger from her boot and was in the position where she could kill the man in an instant. She took one small glance back at Julia and stopped.

"Come on lets go, Julia. Stick close to me." , Romara ordered as she put the dagger away. They headed off in haste.

"You don't have to tell me twice!" , Julia joked. Where was Romara leading her? That question had just finally crossed her mind. "Hey, Romara, where are we..." , Julia started to say.

"I was supposed to be taking you straight home. However, we have to make a stop back home. I promised I'd report back there immediately if I saw any of Aeroth's men." , she interrupted.

The Next Morning

Romara and Julia woke up to the sunrise. Although they had a nights sleep, they still both felt exhausted. Julia packed up camp while Romara got rid of any sign that showed they were there.

Several yards away was a long rickety bridge. It looked very unstable. It was brown and the only thing holding it on the posts was some worn out rope. Crossing it would be a real challenge, at least for Julia.

"Julia, don't look down. Keep control of your body. Focus on your breathing." , Romara advised. Romara sped across the bridge in seconds. Romara's speed still blew Julia's breath away.

Julia did the best she could to not look down, but she couldn't resist. She had to look. As she did so the bridge snapped. Julia dangled from nothing but the cliff's edge.

Romara offered out her hand as she said, "Grab my hand! I won't let you fall!" Romara could see Julia was terrified by the look in her eyes. Julia gripped her hand just in time because her other one slipped off. Julia know owed Romara practically 3 lives. What a debt?
