Soon they saw a beautiful forest with tall trees. Birds were chirping and fairies were singing. There were houses and towers alike everywhere. High in the trees and down on the ground. Guards with swords, spears, bows, and arrows. Everyone had cat ears and tails.
As soon as Romara entered, people bowed and curtsied. In front of them was a huge, elegant palace. The guards took a quick glance at Romara and moved back. They put their spears down behind her.
"Who are you?" , one guard said nastily to Julia.
"She's with me!" , Romara said just as cruelly.
"As you wish, your grace." , he backed off, letting Julia advance.
"Did he just call you 'your grace', Romara?" , Julia questioned.
"Yeah. Now shut up!" , she demanded rudely.
Then, they entered a throne room. There was a man and a woman sitting in chairs, both with crowns on their heads. The man, which Julia assumed was the king was tall, handsome, and had very neat hair. He was wearing a red suit with shoulder tassels. The queen was a beautiful woman wearing a long flowing dress and a lot of jewelry. She seemed to be the complete opposite of Romara.
"Hello, darling we've missed you! I see you've brought a friend! How splendid!" , the queen said affectionately. She hugged Romara very tightly.
"Mom!" , Romara whispered eyeing her as she got out of her mother's grip.
"Go along, Romara. Show your guest around." , the king said.
"Sure." , Romara groaned.
"OK. Tell me what's going on right now!" , Julia ordered.
"Fine. They are my mom and dad, also known as king and queen. That makes me.... well, I think you get the gist of what's going on." , Romara whispered.
Romara led Julia to a room with a queen sized bed. The room was gigantic. The bathroom sink and shower knob were made of pure gold. There was a jewelry box on the wooden desk. Next to the wooden desk was a small wooden chair.
"Wow! This room is amazing!" , Julia awed.
"Well, this is where you'll sleep." , Romara said plainly.
