Prompt: a story with an unreliable narrator

She was gaining on him. His small legs pushed  against the muddy ground harder as he rounded the corner. "Get back here you brat!" She was furious, he could hear it in her voice. His thin frame started to tremble from exertion and his breath came to him in small puffs. He had to get away, if he was caught who knows what would happen? Out of no where a large brown beast streaked across the yard to him. The beast fell him with one hit, knocking the defenseless boy to the moist ground. "Good boy Parker." She praised the beast as she walked over to them. The beast, Parker, gave an ear shattering bark as his mistress scratched his head. " You've been a very naughty boy. You'll have to be punished." With that she picked him up and dragged him, kicking and screaming, back into her torture chamber.

"But I don't want to go to bed!" She sighed. This kid was by far the hardest baby-sitting job she had ever had. "Well that doesn't mean you can sneak out of your room. You scared me to death with that stunt! You could have been seriously hurt." She picked the boy up off the counter, taking his muddy pajamas in one hand, and headed up the stairs. Parker, her loyal pit-bull, fallowed them up silently. She pushed open the door and sat the boy down on his make-shift bed. "Look Tommy, I don't care if you go to sleep. You can watch some T.V. if you want, but you're not allowed to leave this room. Your parents will be here to pick you up in a few hours, so just rest until they get here OK?"  Tommy considered this for a moment before nodding. "Good boy. Call me if you need anything." "I will, thanks Cree." Cree nodded and left the room, Parker close behind her. "That boy has way to much energy." Parker barked in agreement and together they headed down stairs.

Author's Notes: So this is for my cousin-in-law Stephen. I hope chu like it! I think it's god awful but you may see something I don't. Comments and criticism welcome! P.s.- any one whose read my last update should know who Parker is. This is how I think he would act in this situation. He would be such a good family dog!
