Prompt: Boy fire cake and girl fire cake. They kill dragons with arrows. And a princess and a prince and its dreaming then its a real story(This is for my little cousin, just roll with it. I'll explain all later).
"Watch out!" I pull Jade's reins back and lean to the right. A jet of blue flames narrowly avoids us as we spin out of the in a dizzying ark. My brother, prince Allan, dove down beside me as I pulled Jade out of her spin. "Well that was a close one, huh Cree?" Allan called to me teasingly, but his face was relieved. Night, Allan's *fire cake, tossed his head back in agreement, whinnying at Jade. She snorted at him and shook her head, making me laugh. This is our first time out in months, since dragons tend to hibernate during the winter. It's early spring now and sure enough the dragons are back, two of them this time. I reposition my bow, pulling the arrow back until the bow string was taught in my hands. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Allan doing the same. Our fire cake's jet packs buzzed loudly as they propelled us forward. When the dragons came in range Allan and I fired our arrow, the two beasts falling instantly as the tips pierced their hearts. "Now that's how you kill a dragon." Allan says boastfully. I roll my eyes. "Whatever you say. Come on lets get back to the castle before the jet packs run out of fuel." He nods and we head back to the castle.

"Aww, Cree don't stop there!" Allan whined at me from his spot on my bed, pulling on the sleeve of my night shirt impatiently. "No complaining! It's already way past your bed time. Mom will kill me if she finds out I let you stay up this long." "But Creeeeee-" "No buts, your lucky I told you any story at all so don't complain. If you go to bed now I may finish the story in the morning though." His eyes go wide. "Really?!" I try to hold back my laughter at the amazed look on his face. I stand up and scoop him into my arms, blowing a raspberry into his small stomach. He screeches happily and tries to wiggle out of my hold but I just tighten my grip. "Yes really, but only if you listen to me and go to bed now." I walk next door to his room and plop him down on the bed. He gives me a dejected look but doesn't protest as I start tucking him in. He cuddles up against his stuffed horse Night and I kiss his cheek. "Good night, prince Allan" I say softly as I turn off the light. His dragon night-light shines dimly next to his bed, allowing me to see the tired smile on his face. "Good night princess Cree." He calls back sleepily. After a few minutes, when i'm sure he's asleep, I gently close the door so that its open only a crack and walk silently back to my room.
Authors Notes: *A fire cake is a horse with a jet pack strapped to it's back. Don't ask me why, I didn't come up with it. This is for my little cousin Helen. Her mom Connie won the contest and let her pick the prompt. I hope this lives up to your expectations Helen! I sure had fun writing it, it turned out allot better than I thought it would.
