"What do you want to eat tonight? "

"I don't know. Fried chicken? "

"Again? That's the third time we've had it, darling... Don't you want to change it up a bit? "

"Pizza?"

I slapped him on the head and laughed.

"Go ahead and laugh at me! "

" - But you're so cute when you make that face! "

" - What face? "

" - This one! "

I shook my head and rolled my eyes. He could be such a jerk sometimes.I tried to look serious, but was immediately stopped by his pout that had cracked me up so many times.

"You're cheating... "

I arched an eyebrow, and he kissed me stealthily. He had to be six inches taller than me, so he had to lean in every time he pressed his lips against mine.Soft. That was what his kisses tasted like. I loved it. Suddenly, his eyes changed completely.

"I love you so much, Tae, if you only knew. I love you like crazy. "

He kissed me a second time, but this time he made it last a few seconds longer.

"I love you too. More than anything in the world. "

I buried my face in the crook of his neck, breathing in his scent with pleasure. Almondshower and orange blossom. And I loved it. But that wasn't the only thing I loved about him.

I loved his dark eyes that I always lost myself in, his sparkling, laughing gaze, his tousled brown hair, his thin face and soft skin, his big body that never failed to warm me when I was cold, his big, reassuring hands, his angelic voice and his infectious laugh.

I loved the way he argued with the eight-year-olds when we went to the amusement park, the way he ate his jajangmyeon dishes with sauce all around him, the way he sulked when he lost a game of Call Of Duty, the way he heckled when we went to the beach in the late afternoon.

I loved it when I would curl up in his arms on winter nights, when he would kiss me, quickly or more passionately, when we would talk for hours about anything and everything and never get tired of it, when he would look at me with that burning desire to hold me and that infinite tenderness.
When he told me, for the third time in a week, that he wanted to eat fried chicken, I said, "I'll eat chicken."When he looked at me with that touching pout on his face. When he said to me in his warm, tender voice, "I love you."

I looked at him for a brief moment after our mouths parted, my eyes shining with love and my breath catching.

"- OK with the chicken, but tomorrow I get to choose. "

" - You're the best, you know that? "

" - Of course, what would you do without me? "

"Oh, I think I'd be alone at the door, praying that the delivery man would decide to come alone. "

I laughed softly, then without giving him time to leave, I jumped on his back, ruffling his hair as I went.

After a few seconds, I put my feet back on the floor, then headed for the entrance, leaving Jungkook behind. I put on my shoes and pulled on my warm, comfortable coat.I didn't really want to move, but we had to fill our stomachs. And to tell the truth, now that Jungkook had mentioned it, I wanted to eat some fried chicken too. The drive to the restaurant and back would take me twenty minutes at most. But when I got to the door, as I turned the handle to open it and get out, Jungkook came and blocked my way.I opened my eyes wide, not understanding what he wanted to do. He put his arm on my shoulder and closed the door I had opened. He grabbed my shoulders and pulled me onto the sofa in the living room. I still hadn't said anything, I just let him. He started to take off my coat and shoes, then went to put them away in the hallway, exactly where I had taken them a few minutes before.

"What are you doing? "

He gave me a quick kiss on the forehead, then got up and went to get dressed to go out.

"I'm going to get our lunch."

"I can go, you know. It's okay, it's not that cold outside, and it's not far. "

"It's okay, Taehyung, I can do it for you. You haven't stopped running around today, just enjoy and rest for a while. You'll see when I get home, you'll be glad you rested. Especially since I'm not going to let you sleep tonight, if you know what I mean. "

The wink he gave me was enough for me to understand his salacious undertones.I didn't wait for him to say anything else before throwing a pillow at his head. He laughed as he threw it back at me. I narrowly avoided the projectile, then, after I could put an end to my silly grin, and took a more serious look. I was really embarrassed that he was leaving when I hadn't asked him to. He was going to be cold, and I hadn't given him his present yet.

"- But, really Kook, I swear I don't mind going! "

He shook his head gently, rolling his eyes. What had I done now?I was about to get up from the couch when he redirected himself to me and forced me back to my seat with a sharp push.I sighed, looking him straight in the eye as he stared at me, a split smile on his lips.

"Don't move! I'll be back in twenty minutes, okay? "' He told me in a voice full of softness.soft voice.I smiled at him, got up from the couch and slowly approached him. This time he didn't stop me. I pressed myself against him, enjoying one last embrace as he put his arms around me automatically.

His eyes annoyed me. His smile annoyed me. His voice made me angry. He made me angry. But God, I loved him. Like crazy. I loved him like crazy. We stayed like that for five minutes. Then I stood on my tiptoes and whispered in his ear:

"I love you. "

Then I kissed her one last time. A kiss, no words, and we understood each other perfectly. They were just there to remind us how lucky we were to have found each other. To me, there was nothing more precious in the world, and I would have given anything to be able to stay with him for the rest of my life.

Jungkook pulled away from me, and after one last look, he left the house."See you later! I'll be quick! "
