Chapter 10-Ocean Eyes

Chapter 10

Karlyn’s POV

OUTFIT ON THE SIDE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 

            Michie and I were both in the kitchen having a snack because we didn’t want to look so hungry when we go out with Louis and Liam.

            “So what do you think we’re going to do when we go to the boardwalk?” I asked Michie.

“Maybe walk, ride all the amusement park rides, play carnival games, and eat. I mean the list could go on.”

“Wow, very specific.” I laughed

“Hey you asked.” She said throwing up her hands.

“But I do know that you like Louis.” She said bluntly. I began to blush. “Karlyn you can’t hide it,” she continued. Right at that moment the doorbell rung

            “Time to show your feelings, babe.” Michie said walking over to the door. I heard her greet the boys in and she came back with Liam’s arm around her shoulder, and Louis beside them.

            “KARLYN!!!!” Louis ran in the kitchen picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.”

“Louis! Put me down!” I laughed.

“Sorry Cupcake, no can do, We are on our way to the pier! Let’s go!!!” He yelled.

“Louis put me down. I’m not too fond of my view at the moment.”

“Your just jealous that my bum is better than yours.” I laughed.

“Whatever floats your boat.” I said making him laugh.

“Let’s go to the pier!” Louis yelled walking us out the door.

“Michie grab my bag.” I said on my way out. Liam and Michie tagged behind us. Louis dropped me and opened the passenger car door for me to get in and he ran over to the driver’s side. Liam and Michie slid in the back seats.

            “Um, Louis maybe I should drive,” Liam suggested.

“NO! JIMMY PROTESTED!” Louis yelled while bringing the car to life. Louis hit the gas and we were off! We quickly made it to the Pier in one piece. The car ride was filled with Liam screaming for seat belts, Louis speeding, Michie yelling to slow down, and constant whiplash…. We were perfectly fine. Don’t you hint my sarcasm? We pilled out of the car and Liam and Michie or should I say Miam or Lichie walked ahead of Louis and I to get the tickets. They were so cute together. They came back shortly with our tickets for the rides. We all entered the park and I saw Liam wink at Louis and he and Michie walked of in a different direction (no pun intended).

            “Where are they going?” I asked looking up into Louis’ blue eyes.

“Today it’s just going to be you and i.” He said linking is hand in mine.

            It’s been 2 hours since I’ve been at the pier. Louis and I have had such a good time. We literally rode every ride including the kiddy rides. Let’s just say we got a lot of weird looks. Louis and I at the moment were walking down the edge of the dock in the end of the pier. The sun was set just above the ocean and the view was simply gorgeous. I was leaning against the banister smelling the salty air. I looked at Louis right next to me seeing the sunlight causing a glow on his face. He turned towards me and I looked into his ocean like eyes.

            “Your so beautiful, Karlyn.” Louis said. I looked down not wanting him to see me blush.

“Tell me more about yourself.” He asked sitting down on the edge of the dock.

“Well what do you want to know?”

“About your family, favorite things, interest?” I looked out at the sea again. The smell of seawater always relaxed me.

“I’m originally from Orlando, Florida. I moved to New York where I met the girls when I was 10. I have a mom and dad named Heather and Stephen and 2 dogs names Mickey and Pluto; yes, like the Disney characters. I’ve always wanted to be a professional swimmer.”

            “Wow! Your family sounds awesome,” He said. “Do you want to go on the Ferris wheel?” He asked.

“Random Much? But sure.” I laughed. He put his hand out to help me up and we walked hand and hand to the Ferris wheel. Louis and I waited in line a bit and finally reached the ride. We stepped in and took a seat next to each other. We rode up in silence just enjoying the view and each other’s company, until Louis broke the silence.

            “Do you have a boyfriend?” He asked.

“No. I actually don’t. To be honest I haven’t had one in a wile, but I do like this guy I just met recently. He’s super funny and super cute.” I was describing Louis. I couldn’t hold these feelings in any longer.

            “Oh. That’s cool what’s his name?” He asked. I remember when Michie and I were talking I realized I had to tell him. It’s now or never.

“Louis.”

“Me?!” He yelled making me blush and giggle.

“Yes, you. You’re funny and sweet an-“ he smashed his lips onto mine stopping me from talking. I kissed him back confidently feeling an explosion running through my veins. He pulled my waist causing me to scoot closer to him. We kissed for what seemed like years. We pulled apart eventually just staring into each others eyes.

“Karlyn, will you be my girlfriend?” he asked softly. I smiled.

“Of course I will.” He brought his lips back to mine. The moment was perfect. He is perfect.
