Missing Keefe: a SOKEEFE story!

Chapter 1 - Sophie

Hello! I am Maddie, and I love Kotlc! This And this is my first fanfic so it will probably be a bucket of crap but I try. If you like this please vote, comment, and follow me! The seccond Sophie glittered into sight, she saw an unnatural sight: a deviated Grady. "Grady, are you ok?" Sophie gently asked. "Ummm.....Yeah, I'm fine?" It came out as a question, and Grady's voice sounded unnaturally high pitched. "Ok, then" Sophie shrugged. 

          The first thing she saw when she entered her room was a stunning Iggy, he was partly green,teal,purple,ice blue,yellow,and orange with tiger stripes over his back. Wow, Dex really out done himself she thought, while changing into a plain brown tunic with gold leggings so she could help feed Verdi. Then she saw crisp white envelope, a note! It was from Keefe, and it read

To the mysterious miss F!

 Sophie smiled, Keefe's handwriting was so unique, like his hair, is was perfect and just so Keefe-like. It was quickly written, but with his own style edged into every point. But as she read on, her smile melted into a look of heartbreaking sadness.

 Ugh. I'm already regretting starting the letter that way.   But I don't have any extra paper and crossing it out would make it look worse, so ... I guess we'll  just have to add it to my list of mistakes. And I know that you are going to  think that everything that I'm about to say should also be up there on the list of Keefe fails. - But that's NOT what this is. I'm not trying to fix everything or save everyone this time.I'm just trying to make sure that I don't hurt anyone.

I can't tell you more than that without putting you in danger, so just ... trust me when I say that the powers that my mom gave me are super bad. There are seriously not strong enough words to describe how horrible they are. And I CANT control them - just like how I can't stop my mom from forcing me to use them. So ... this is the only way. I don't want to do it. But I have to. And I'm not gonna ask you not to hate me. In fact, it might be better if you do, because I need you to PROMISE a that you won't try to find me. My mom will be waiting for you to track me down-and since I know how stubborn you are, I want to make sure you know who you are putting in danger. I'm going to be hiding the same way that the black swan hid you. That's why you have to stay away. Well there are a lot of reasons.

So again,please,just ... trust me, okay? And since this is the last time I'll ever talk to you I just ... want to say that  I'm really going to miss you. You mean a lot to me, Foster. More than you'll ever know. Please be careful. Please be happy. And PLEASE a forget all about me. It'll be better for everyone that way. You'll see.

Sophie felt tears prick her eyes, even before she realized what had happened, Keefe was gone. Gone. He left me...Why?  The room started to spin, and she felt dizzy. Tears streamed down her face, as she let out one dry sob. She screamed in agony, and her body shook. Her heart was splitting in two as she sobbed and screamed, Sophie was blinded by tears, and all she heard were Grady and Edaline's footsteps before she blacked out.

Sophie woke up with a broken heart and an orb of green light around her head. Elwin, great. Keefe will forever tease me on my healing center visits. She thought but then she remembered that Keefe was gone , Forever. And just like that she was crying, sobbing and screaming, reliving every moment with Keefe, first she was at the bench that Keefe was ditching at that day that she blew up Lady Galvin's cape. "You must be lost." he said with a smirk that tore her heart apart. Then she was at King Ditamar's place when she thought she was going to lose Keefe she felt the worry, the tears, and the pain a lot of pain. She had thought she was going to lose Keefe and now she had, and it was so much worse than she had expected. Then she was at the shores of solace, telling Keefe that she was unmatchable, and how she was scared about how Fitz would react. And the look in Keefe's eye when he had felt her heartbreak about Fitz, he was clearly upset about something.....her. But what had she done? And that heartbreak that she had felt? That was nothing compared to this, her relationship with Fitz was fake and that why she had ended . She screamed and thrashed, she needed Keefe, without him she was broken. She promised herself right then and there that she would find Keefe, and.....if she was being real Keefe was the only thing holding her together, like she was the wood and he was the nails, together building the house that is her life, but if you take out the nails, what happens? 

The house falls apart.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter, it was fun writing this but us was harder than I thought. BTW Keefe is a empath/polyglot I didn't give him any extra powers. And the next chapter will be in Keefe's perspective, and suggestions about where in the forbidden cities he should be? Any ideas for the story will be welcome! Thank you again.
