I didn't know where I had appeared, but I knew it was in the forbidden cities. It'll be okay, it'll be okay. He had been chanting that to himself for four hours, ever since he left. Keefe found himself in a busy city, it had lots of cute cafes and a huge black structure. It was at least 500 feet tall and had crisscrossed supports, it was a pyramid shape but split into four legs at the bottom and connected into a tower at the top. He was in Paris, France and that was the Eiffel tower.
Sophie had told him about it. She had said that it was a historical landmark and it dated back to 18 - Sophie

The name rang out in his head, repeating over and over, the name he would not let himself think. Too late
He thought about how she had told him all about the forbidden cities, the cute crinkle between her eyebrows, and her adorably obvious nature. Her warm brown eyes, her soft touch, her determination. He missed her kindness, her strength, and when she enhanced him, when he found love.....for him.
Why did it have to be him with the daddy issues? Why did it have to be him with the creepy new ability? Why did it have to be him with the love of his life who didn't even realize his love? Why did it have to be him with the evil mom? Why did it have to be him, why was he ..... the broken boy?
He HAD to do this, he had to protect Sophie. But was he really? Sophie could be dying right now, and he wouldn't know. Because he left, breaking everybody's heart in the process........

He couldn't think that way, or he would give in. He couldn't return, not now, not ever. Or he would kill everyone he cared about. Even if he did he would have lost Sophie, she probably hated him and he didn't blame her. He had left after all. He needed to lie down, find a place to relax - live. Then it dawned on him, he would live here, in this plain, boring world and eat this plain, boring food. He would have to be human.
After checking in to his hotel he collapsed on his bed and let a tear roll down his cheek. Then another and another. After that he was full out crying, sobbing, and shaking. He was crying for Sophie, crying harder than he ever had before. He would never see Sophie again, the girl he loved to death. His heart was broken.
Sorry for the short chapter, I am a girl so I have no idea how a boy thinks. I really like ending with dramatic endings, sorry. Again, I really appreciate the reads and feedback. I just can't express how much the reads mean to me and I love all of you. Thank you!
