This takes place after the shocking end to unlocked. With the Neverseen plotting revenge for the burning of their waterfall storage, and Sophie looking for Keefe, the story couldn't get any more intense!

To say that her words caused an uproar would be a tremendous understatement.
Everybody seemed to be talking. She caught bits and pieces but most of it sounded like gibberish.
".....you shouldn't give up kids......"
"......DONT sacrifice your future....."
"......it's not worth the risk....."
"......there is no reason to worry....."
No reason to worry.Ha! As if. Her whole existence was one big worry fest. Bet that was Alden. That crapsack. What has he ever done to help? Deep down she knew she was not being fair. She knew Alden was like her father. But she didn't care. Right now all that mattered was her, and her new freakin abilities. She decided to speak. And when the great Sophie Foster speaks, people listen. (And not because she she just manifested like 3 abilities that could make people listen....)
"Look, I am NOT sacrificing my future, having kids was never in it. And so what if I am? It's just my future for yours. All of yours. I think that is a fair trade. It is worth the risk, sure I might die, but when have I ever done something that couldn't kill me? We could have a advantage over the neverseen, we could have a chance. A chance at winning. At chance at seeing the sun set on the lost cities ten years from now. I will fight to my last breath, and I'm still breathing, baby."
That pretty much shut everyone up. Who knew shy Sophie was such a good speaker, without mesmerizing anyone she had swayed everyone to her opinion. Wow, that's talent. So the plans were made for the surgery.
It would take place tomorrow. 3:07pm. At the ETRCAH, or Elven Treatment Refugee Camp And Hospital. Apparently the council had it built after she had declared war on the neverseen. The ETRCAH, in her opinion not the best acronym. But she decided not to mention it, the council weren't exactly her BFF's. So after that Forkle, god I am- was spending too much time with Keefe. Mr. Forkle suggested that I go home and get some rest. I walked in uncomfortable silence with Grady and Edaline to the glittering leap master 10,000. Haven field I called out, and let the light sweep me away.
"We're proud of you, kiddo" Grady was the first to speak. "You are?" She cringed at the amount of shock in her voice. "Of course we are. Not many girls would give up some of the most treasured organs for the lives of others. You're a very brave and caring girl." He said pulling her into a hug. "You don't think I made the wrong choice?" She asked, "not at all" he replied. "But I did hear what you said about Keefe, we will be having a talk later. For now, though, you need your rest."
Sophie climbed the stairs, opened her door, and turned to flop down on her bed. There was just one problem though, somebody was already sitting on it.
(An I know some of you are going like 'it's Keefe! He came back!' But sadly no, I must quench your hope. Alas it is not Keefe on her bed, but a certain teal eyed boy....)
"Fitz! What are you doing here? I don't remember asking you to come." She said pointedly. "I came uninvited, you and I need to....talk." The angry way he emphasized the last word filled her heart up with dread and to her surprise: ice.
"What do you want Fitz? In case you hadn't noticed I have surgery tomorrow and need my rest." She said icily
"I heard what you said about Keefe. Is.it. true?" He replied angered at her steely look, the ice in her eyes.
"So what If it is? Why do you care? I thought I was a poison to your reputation? Or am I just a ugly freak?" I spat, what was happening?I would never be this mean. Must be the changes.
"I never said that"
"You didn't need to."
"I liked you, I still do. I made mistakes, Sophie I just want to make sure your heart is still mine."
Oh.no.he.didn't.
"Yours?YOURS? I am not a prize that you get to win, I am not some new shiny toy. I am a person with feelings. Not that you care about them. You are just a sexist dirty pungent rat. What did I see in you? Just because my eyes are gold does not mean I can be bought or sold!" She growled fiercely
"I- did you call me a rat?"
"No I called you a freakin princess" she snorted sarcasm laced every word.
"I love you!"
"I hate you"
"Fine then, I will just find another girl, I know Linh has an eye for me."
"That's disgusting. I hate you so much words cannot begin to discribe. One girl blows you off and you immediately run to another. You never cared, now I see it, the hungry glint in your eye, the control, the look on Keefe's face when he saw how blind I was. You Fitz, are a disease, a nightmare, I don't ever want to see you again. Much less be your cognate." She snarled and threw her rings right back at him, he caught one looking surprised, but the other hit him in the arm. Creating a small, thin gash. "you freak, you loser. I can't believe I liked you!"
"That's funny. I was thinking the same thing" she smirked and punched him right in the nose. He swore so loudly that she was sure Kenric could hear, even thought he was dead. "Go Fitz, leave. I hate you, you were wrong to me, I should have realized that Keefe was the one I truly loved. Now get out of my sight, dipstick." He tried to take a swipe at her, but with her newly enhanced reflexes, she dodged easily landing a blow to his chest, knocking his breath away. He stuck his middle finger out at her and leaped away.
Yeah, I have been reading way to much maximum ride. How's that for a make up chapter? I have another embarrassing confession: so you know this guy....
