I was just starting to fall asleep under my favorite cherry blossom tree. Their was alot in Kinoko kingdom, but this one just gave me a different vibe. It was right on the outskirts of town on a hill covered in flowers. The only one outside of town. I don't know why, but I've been told they just don't grow as well as well as they do in kinoko.
I took a deep breath in and out. The air smelt so sweet. It was so calming, so peaceful, so-
"Raaaaaaaa!"
"What the?" I sat up and looked around.
"Raaaaaa!"
There it was again. What is that? I stood up to try and get a better look. I spotted a cave on the other side of the hill, in a mountain.
'Thats the only place it could be coming from' I thought to myself.
I'm not even aloud to go this far out of the kingdom. The mountains are out of my territory. If my dad found out...
"Ohh....fuck it!" I said running down the hill. I ran all the way to the entrance of the cave then stoped. I gulped and stepped in. And holy shit it was dark in here.
I taped my mushroom hat twice and it lit up.
'Thank the gods for bioluminescents'
I walked further and further into the cave. I went so deep i couldn't see the light from the entrance anymore. I sighed. "Guess it was just my mind playing tricks on me" I said to myself.
I turned around to walk back but something stoped me...or rather, someone. He was taller then me, like way taller. He had on a dark kimono, with long black hair to match. His eyes were a beautiful purple, his horns has the same purple that gradually turned to his tan-ish skin tone. He was so...beautiful.
"What are u doing here?" He asked me, taking a step closer. "Uh, I heard a growl coming from here and got curious..." I said taking a step back. He scoffed taking another step towards me. For every step he took forward I steped back, until I was against the cold wall of the cave.
"Do you think I'm dumb?" He growled in my face. I shook my head. "Pesky creatures like you shouldn't come into a gods territory, especially not unicorns like yourself. So who sent you? Whats your game here?"
'Rude much?'
I rolled my eyes and tried to steady my breath. "No one sent me here. I'm a demi God, and heir to the kinoko thrown. So you should show me some respect, as this is technically my land." I said.
He chuckled a bit leaning in more. I leaned my head back as far as I could, our faces were so close. "You don't own the mountains little demi God, I know that." He said coldly with a smerk on his face.
I gulped again. Ugh, he was so hot. And his smerk was just...ugh!
"Why are you here little demi God?" He asked again. "I already told you, I just heard a growl and came to check it out...I thought it might have been a hurt animal or something" I said.
He leaned in close to my ear. My breath hitched as I felt his hot breath on my neck. "Are you sure, little one? I could easily kill you right now" he whispered in my ear. I felt my face heat up as blush spread across my face and too my ears.
"I'm t-totally sure" I said, mentally cursing at myself for stuttering. He leaned back and looked me in the eyes. He raised a brow, probably because he saw the blush on my cheeks. I looked away avoiding eye contact.
'Curse him for being so hot!'
"Well I can't let you go now that you know I'm here..." he trailed off. My eyes widened and I whipped my head back to face him. "But-" he cut me off saying. "But keeping you hear would worry them, and they'd probably send out a surch party to find you...so keeping you here isn't an option either."
I let out a sigh of relief hearing those words. "I have an idea!" He leaned in close again and whispered "you're going to tell your pathetic parents that your going away for a while, make up whatever you'd like. I'll be watching you the whole time so don't try anything" he smiled.
My mouth opened a bit in surprise. I don't really have a choice, but this seems really dumb. "Why though? Why can't people find out about you and why are you taking me?"
He scowled and and sighed. "Because your parents put a bounty on me, so if they ever found out I'd lose my head. And I dont trust you not to tell them" he explained in a monotone voice.
I looked down debating my options. Tell my parents and get killed or risk my life by going with this complete stranger. I don't know, I mean not dying would be nice.
My thoughts were broken by his hand grabbing my chin and forcing me too look him in the eyes. I blushed more and he smirked. "So? Whats it going to be~" he said.
I didn't like the sound of his voice. It was harsh yet sudective at the same ti- omg stop finding the person who is blackmailing you attractive!!
I let out a shaky breath. "Ok, I'll go with you." I said. He let go of my face and back up. "Just what I wanted to hear." He smirked. "Now run along, I expect you back here by noon tomorrow." He instructed, walking me back the way I came in.
When we got to the entrance he turned to go back inside. "Oh and don't try anything, I'll know if you do" he said coldly walking back into the darkness.
I taped my hat turning it back to normal. And made my way back to the palace.
