Here's a rushed update for all of you lovely people. Pleaseee vote and comment :)

Elizabeth:

"Liz. Took you long enough." My mother embraced me in the most comforting way, and I almost cried out of joy. I had been looking forward to that moment through the entire day.

Harry's visit still burned inside my mind, especially how bold I had acted. For Christ's sake, I gripped his ass out of the blue. My fight with Benjamin only fuelled the irrational part of me, an Elizabeth I hadn't encountered before. She wanted Harry in the most sinful ways, and it was scary the idea of such thoughts ruling me whenever those green eyes stared into mine.

"Oh mum, dad's fault." She playfully glared at him, even though he paid no attention at all. I admired them as a couple. They were in love even after so long together, and seeing their display of affection was refreshing, a constant reminder of what I wanted to be when I got older.

"Mum, I am starving here. Can we please eat?" Kate mumbled from the couch, making a pouty face and a whiny voice. She was, had always been, a drama queen, although I supposed I could be just like her at times.

"I'll wait for your father. You two can go first." Mum answered, waving between Kate and I. She got up immediately, grinning and skidding down the hallway towards the kitchen. I followed closely, although my steps were much slower.

"Liz, how is Benjamin doing?" She asked, barely giving me time to register her words before speaking again "Still hot as fuck?" I gasped, smacking her arm. Apparently Katherine had some major crush on my boyfriend, although she thought he was too prudish for her taste.

"Yeah, Kate. Same old Benjamin." My tone was clipped, which made her frown immediately. Kate was three years younger, but surely not dumb. She had watched my relationship with Benjamin developing, and obviously she knew when something was wrong.

"What even happened between the two of you? You sort of paled when I mentioned him." She sat down at the dinner table, while I followed, pulling out my own chair beside hers.

"We fought, that's all."

"Bullshit. You arrived here blushing, and I thought you and Ben had given a go at the office or some shit." I blushed again, slightly mad that Kate could read me so well.

"See? You're blushing again. Don't tell me you cheated on him or something. That'd be a shame, unless the other boy was hotter." Saving me from my misery, mum showed up, a small smile evident on her features. Obviously she had been listening long enough.

"Katherine Winters you shut the fuck up, okay?" I whispered to her, already feeling the delicious smell of my mother's cooking.

"Holy fuck. You really cheated on him, didn't you? You're so gonna tell me all about it later." She mumbled back, sending me mischievous grins.

Fucking amazing, I thought to myself. My sister had found out my biggest secret without even having to hear me say it aloud. I wondered if I was acting too oddly or if Kate was just being her nosy self and exercising her years of practice on me.

"Elizabeth?" My mother called, apparently not for the first time. I looked up and saw her offering me a plate, already full of food. I took it with a small smile, feeling my stomach growl at the sight of her spaghetti.

"Thanks mum." She nodded and sat down again, all of us around the table, happily digging into our food. My mind was absent, I had to admit that. They kept talking about Kate's graduation, mum's idea of branching out with her restaurant and other daily stuff. My contribution to the conversation was kept to a minimum.
