Harry:
"Hey, snap out of it." Diana spoke with rudeness, pleased with herself and the memories she evoked. Three hundred thousand pounds, my first con. I didn't regret the money or the act itself. I regretted leaving Alexa behind.
Louis was right, I was in love with her. As soon as my plane landed in Sydney, I thought about Alexa and how I should've brought her. Either way, I didn't like to think about her, not after I left.
I thought she had gotten over me and moved on with her life, but those tragic news made my entire perspective change. Alexa was a rebel on the outside, but very problematic on the inside. She had the money but not enough attention, which fucked up her entire life perspective, not to mention the involvement field. She got involved with me and I ran away with her money. You used her, my subconscious mocked me.
It was torture, thinking about how I ruined her life and her mother's life. One action that brought endless consequences upon too many people.
"Why bring this shit up? Why now?" I enquired her, anger bubbling inside my chest. Maybe Benjamin should've gotten rid of her instead of the other girl.
"Because unlike everyone else here, I don't think you're special, with those clear eyes and sweet talk. You're a criminal and I don't want you to ever forget that. Besides, you can use Benjamin's anger as leverage. He will confess faster." I looked at her in disbelief, wondering if this woman had ever been properly loved in her life. That was my only explanation for such a bitter creature. Everything Diana did exhaled annoyance and anger, as if she had a problem with the world.
"You think so highly of yourself, don't you? Well, flashing news, you're a bitch." I snapped at her, letting my anger replace the guilt and fear. "I sincerely hope you get laid as soon as possible. That is, if anyone is brave enough to face such a vixen." I smirked at her, enjoying the disbelief on her features. Her cheeks were flushed in anger, and I hadn't realised how enraged I made her until her hand came in contact with my cheek, leaving an unpleasant sting.
I kept my cool and looked down at her from our not so big height difference. Diana was satisfied with herself, while I kept a mocking smirk evident on my face. Her assault made Sebastian approach us, although he chose to keep quiet. All eyes were on us, and I had always enjoyed a nice show.
"That bitch slap just proved my point. You're too dreadful to be liked by anyone. That pussy will create dust before anyone sane sticks their dick inside." I smiled, pleased with myself and the reaction I got out of her. Diana was roaring with anger, and I watched cooly as some nameless agent restrained her.
"You shut the fuck up! Bastard, son of a bitch, I hope Benjamin shoots you before getting caught!" She yelled and tried to get rid of her restrainer, thrashing around like a mad woman. I watched the entire fit in awe, pleased with myself and what my words had accomplished.
"You deserve to rot in hell, son of a bitch! Do you honestly think Elizabeth will stick around once she finds out the truth? She is dumb, but not that much. She'll leave you behind and you'll be left with nothing. No family, no friends, no girlfriend, just your miserable life and the stinging failure of being caught." She spat at me and I took one step forward, clenching my fists in anger. I would never assault a woman, but that girl deserved every bad thing that could possibly happen in her life. She could say anything, I wouldn't mind one bit, but whenever Elizabeth was mentioned I saw red.
"Harry, it's time to go before you do something stupid." Sebastian spoke, placing his hand on my arm and keeping a steady grip. I nodded and backed off, showing Diana my middle finger and storming towards the door, ignoring the stares we got. Clearly everyone enjoyed the show.
