Haseena Malik was driving to her home lost in her own thoughts while Karishma Singh was sitting next to her shedding her tears looking outside the window. The whole journey was silent. Though Haseena had decided to handle the situation calmly yet, she was totally broken inside and her condition is very well known by Karishma. The scene of Haseena beating herself with the belt was continuously flashing in her brain making her more guilty on herself. However, her chain of thoughts was broken when Haseena applied a sudden brake and they stepped out of the jeep and walked inside.
Haseena Malik was the first one to break the ice. "aap room mein jaa kar fresh n up ho jaaiye... hum breakfast lekar aate hain...hmm..."
But Karishma held her wrist and dragged her inside the room. Handing her a backless top, she asked her to change.
"hum thik hain baccha... don't worry!" Haseena said with a smile.
"aap khud se change karengi ya phir hum karein?" Karishma said sternly. Haseena sighed and taking the top from her hand, she walked inside the bathroom.
Haseena was sitting on the bed with her back facing Karishma who was applying antiseptic on her red, belt wounds. They both were silently sobbing and there was dead silence in the room except the hissing sound Karishma was producing every time her fingers were touching Haseena's wounds all over her back. Then she came in front of her.
Doing the first aid of her knuckles, she asked without looking at her, "aap hume maaf kar sakti hain Haseena?"
Haseena smiled and said, "aapko toh maaf kar denge... lekin hum khud ko kabhi maaf nahi kar payenge..."
"galti ki hai toh saza bhi milni chahiye... maafi ke haqdaar nahi hain... aap saza dijiye lekin khud ko nahi... humko... jisse sirf hume takleef ho... aapko nahi..."
"aap kamzor hain Karishma... boht kamzor... ek tough aur strict police officer Karishma Singh, jise hum jaante the... jo hume pasand thi... humne use kahi kho diya hai... ye jo hamare saamne hain... ye sirf Haseena ki Karishma hai... jise aur kisi se koi bhi matlab nahi hai... ye selfish hai, self obsessed hai..." Haseena said calmly through her painful eyes controlling her tears and Karishma's heart wrenched but she didn't have any answers for her alligations.
"agar aap sach mein is baare mein aur baat karna chahti hain toh suniye... Santosh aur Cheetah, jinhe aap mein ek role model dikhta hai, ek inspiration dikhti hai, aapke jaisa banna chahte hain vo dono... kya guzregi un par jab unhe pata chalega ki unki inspiration ek.... ek drug addict hain...!! socha kabhi aapne is baare mein?" Haseena added and Karishma bowed her head down, listening to her silently.
"Pushpa ji, aapki tarakki ke liye roz prey karti hain... aapse itna pyaar karti hain ki aapke liye kisi se bhi ladd jayein... bahu ki jagah beti maanti hain aapko... kya guzregi un par jab unhe pata chalega ki unki bahu drugs leti hain...? toot jayengi na vo? socha tha kabhi aapne?"
Tears were flowing down from Karishma's eyes but Haseena continued"aapke husband ko pata hai is baare mein??" Karishma nodded her head sideways still looking down "unhe pata chalega toh kya hoga socha kabhi aapne? vo apne aap ko ek failure husband maan'ne lagenge... kyuki unki wife, jise voh itna pyaar karte hain vo ek drug addict hain..." She added.
Karishma's heart was filled with guilt.
"sheher ki hazaaro auratein, jo aap par bharosa karti hain... ki aapke is sheher mein hote huye koi unhe aankh utha kar nahi dekh sakta... kya izzat reh jayegi unki nazron mein aapki... socha kabhi aapne? nahi naa! kyuki aapko sirf aapki Haseena ki duniya mein rehna tha... kisi aur se koi bhi matlab nahi tha aapko..."
Karishma's guilt had turned into anger and tears started streaming down from her eyes. With shaking voice, she asked..."aur... aur Haseena... vo kya sochengi hamare baare mein??"
