'TUM MILE'

Haseena decided to go to the Thana early in the morning and thought to spend some time with her Karishma. She got ready and prepared the breakfast for both of them and left for the thana.

Billu heard the sound of Haseena's jeep and tried to wake Karishma. "Karishma madam... uthiye...shayad maddam sir aa gayi hain... aapko aise dekh liya toh boht badi dikkat ho jaayegi... uthiye madam...." he was shaking her vigorously to make her conscious. She slightly opened her eyes. Haseena was about to enter when he sprinkled some water on Karishma's face and she woke up with a jerk.

"kya ho raha hai yaha!!!" Haseena asked in a loud voice and both of them looked towards her.

"j... jai hind... maddam sir..." Karishma said standing up but she couldn't stand properly.

"Karishma Singh! aapko kya hua? aap thik hain na?" She asked out of concern but Karishma had kept her face down.

"ji..ji maddam sir... hum thik hain...shayad aankh lag gayi thi...hum abhi aaye..." She said and dragged herself to the bathroom and sprinkled the water on her face abruptly.

"billu sab thik hai na?" Haseena asked suspiciously."ji maddam sir... sab thik hai..." he replied and walked outside the thana. Karishma came out composing herself.

"aapko vardi mein dekh kar boht accha lag raha hai... lekin maddam sir aap itni subeh yaha kya kar rahi hain?" she asked.

"kuch ajeeb sa lag raha tha... toh hum aapse milne aa gaye... idhar aaiye..." She said and Karishma goes in front of her. Haseena just pulled her into a tight embrace. Karishma closed her eyes letting herself fall completely in her arms and rested her head in her chest while Haseena kissed her hair and rested her chin on her head.

"bada pyaar aa raha hai aaj??" Karishma teased her and Haseena smiled

"pyaar toh hamesha hi aata hai... ab hamari S.I. Sahiba hain hi itni pyaari" She replied.

"Toh ab chhodne ka iraada hai ya phir aise hi rehna hai saara din??" Karishma asked trying to come out of the hug but Haseena didn't let her go.

"humara bas chale toh aapko kahi bhi nahi jaane dein... apne paas rakhein... apni nazron ke saamne..." said Haseena and Karishma smiled whole-heartedly and a tear escaped from her eye.

After a few minutes, they left each other. "aaiye breakfast karte hain..." Haseena said gesturing her to sit and dragged another chair from Pushpa Singh's desk and seated herself too.

"maddam sir hamara mann nahi hai zara bhi...aap kijiye..."

"thoda sa khaa lijiye...raat se duty kar rahi hain aap..." Haseena said opening the tiffin box she'd carried.

"nai khana please na..." Karishma said again...

"kya zidd hai ye baccha... hum khilate hain aapko apne haath se... tab to khayengi na aap?" Haseena said trying to shove a morsel inside her mouth but Karishma pushed her hand and got up with a jerk.

"hum bol rahe hain ki nahi khana hai toh matlb nahi khana hai na... aapko samjh mein kyu nahi aata hai ek baar mein...." She yelled at her and Haseena looked at her in shock...

"Kar... karishma... kuch...kuch hua hai?? aap kisi baat se naraaz hain... I.. I am sorry...aap...please... bataiye hume kuch..." She said with a heavy throat and Karishma realized her mistake.

"maddam sir... nahi vo... hume maaf kar dijiye... vo hume shyad neend aa raha hai na toh is vajah se... hum ghar jaa kar fresh n up ho kar aate hain aur Pushpa ji ko bhejte hain...thik hai..." She said calming her voice a little and avoiding any kind of eye contact with Haseena.
