A DAY WITHOUT MADDAM SIR

Karishma couldn't hold herself anymore and cried out loudly...and all others were silently sobbing... while Ammi was the strongest one... maybe Haseena has inherited the strength from her only...

In the car, Haseena had composed herself and was looking outside the window blankly... "Aisa mood leke jaayengi aap Haseena malik..?" Abhishek Mehra asked her politely... "hum..hum thik hai..." she replied without looking at him... Abhishek forwarded a bar of chocolate to her...."kehte hain acche kaam se pehle kuch meetha khaa lena chahiye..." "aap khaiye please... Karishma Singh ne hamare liye kheer banayi thi... hum vo hi khaa kar aaye hain..." "oh wow..! lekin aapne hume offer nahi kia... too selfish you are.." he was trying his best to uplift her mood but it was not that easy...in return, she shouted on her...."aapko kyu offer karein hum... karishma ne hamare liye banai thi... sirf hamare liye...!!!!" Abhishek Mehra got a little scared and shuts his mouth for some time...

"I-i am sorry officer Abhishek.." Haseena apologized politely after realizing her mistake... "It's okay Haseena Malik... I can totally understand... mai bhi apni wife aur 4 years old daughter ko chhod kar aaya hoon...aur ye chocolate bhi meri bacchi ne di hai..." Haseena smiled genuinely... then she remembers Karishma's gift... she looked at her wrist and let out a chuckle... "kya hua.?" AM asked.... "Karishma Singh.... kabhi nahi sudhar sakti..." she said and removed the bracelet from her wrist, turned it around, and pulled out the mini tracker that was attached at its backside... She destroyed the tracker and threw it outside the car... Abhishek too laughed...

"aapki team kaafi smart hai..." he said... "haan.. zaroorat se kuch zyada hi..." she replied...

meanwhile on the other side...
...... they all had to go to the thana... the place was not so cheerful as always... everyone was in a bad mood... Karishma had vented out her anger on Badnam, Iqbaal, Billu, cheetah, and sunny... she didn't have a verbal fight with Pushpa Singh even once... because none of them were in the mood to... it had only been few hours since Haseena had departed and they were already missing her very badly... Pushpa Singh gathered all to uplift Karishma's mood... "tumko pata hai Santu... aaj hum na ghar se kachauri laayein hain... tum khaogi kya..?" "haan pushpa ji... zaroor..." said Santosh who was in no urge to eat anything... "hum bhi khayenge pushpa ji..." said cheetah.... "maaa!! mai bhi khaunga..." billu said.... "Haan tum sab khaao... kyuki kisi ko toh bhook hi nahi hogi... gusse me kahan bhook lagti hai..." Pushpa Ji taunted looking at Karishma through the corner of her eyes... Karishma was least interested in their banter and was continuously checking her phone for any text or call from her maddam sir... frustrated she walked outside to the tea stall...

Santosh came and sat in front of her.... every time Karishma looks at her... she used to give a nervous smile and immediately remove it...as she was scared of her wrath "ama ka hai... kaahe daant phaad rahi ho... kuch kaam hai toh bolo... vrna jaao yaha se..." she chided.. but santosh gained some courage and spoke...."Karishma madam...aapne kuch khaya??" "nai hamara man nai hai..." "madam... aap jaanti hain ki aap kya kar rahi hain...? aap kuch khaa nahi rahi hain subeh se shaam ho gayi hai... aapko pata hai na Haseena madam yaha nahi hai aur saare cases aapko solve karne hain... toh is tarah se bhookhi rahengi toh aapka dimag kaise chalega...??" she said in a calm yet serious tone... Karishma was listening to her words silently... "madam kuch khaa lijiye na... aap nahi khayengi toh yaha koi bhi nahi khayega..." she added...." kaa.. tum sab bhi subeh se kuch nahi khaye...!" she asked in shock... and Santosh nodded... "ek kaam karo...tum sabko bulaao hum abhi aate hain..." She said and Santosh ran inside happily...

Karishma realized that she can't be weak... She is a senior and she has to hold her team together... she cannot lose herself like this... she has to be strong for all others and for her duty... she cannot let her maddam sir down... she walked inside and seated on the dining table... everyone was very happy to see her there and gave a proud smile to Santosh...."ab dekhti rahengi ka pushpa ji... kachauri dengi ya saari nawab Sahab ko khila di hai..." she taunted her... and Pushpa Singh nodded...
