Three Days Later (Wednesday Morning)...

Lance walked back over to his shop's counter as the store home-phone rang. Sliding behind the counter and sitting on his stool as he answered the phone, reaching for his pen with his free hand and facing his work diary waiting to note down any new orders.

"Hello"

Lance blinked for a moment, the voice sounded familiar but he couldn't think where or how. Shaking his head before replying with "Hello, this is Lance the owner of the  Ocean of Flowers. How may I help you?"

"Ah well, It's me .. Officer Holt. Pidge since I'm off duty, I came to order some flowers, I'm outside" Pidge answered, her voice happy and a small knock on his door window had Lance turning to the women standing outside the store door.

A sight that he took a few minutes to take in, she was dressed in a bright yellow water poof coat with an plastic, see-through waterproof poncho over her coat. Rubber gloves on her hands and plastic overalls shoes over her wellies like some nurses would wear in a hospital. Both hoods pulled up and she wore a snood covering the bottom half of her face, her phone pushed to her ear as best as she could to speak with him.

"You look like a creep" Lance honestly answered as he just stared at the women who looked ready to get away with murder.

"You saw how bad my hay-fever get's so I can prepared today" Pidge answered like was no big deal and Lance just hanged up.

Pidge frowned and knocked on the window once, waving to show she was still here even if he did hang up on her. She watched as he took another call, making her wonder if another customer was calling in to order too and she patiently stood outside his flower shop waiting for him to deal with her.

She watched as he placed the phone back down before walking over to the door, hands on his hips as he looked her over once more.

"I need a flower order? Your website online says that you'll take in orders without the customer having to step in your store. And that you'd wrap the bouquet up good enough to stop one from worrying over touching or smelling them. I need to order something like that and well, I already know what flowers I want in the bouquet" Pidge mumbled out, a small smile on her face that was hidden by the mask as she went full out to not let any flower pollen touch or reach her body.

"If you knew my store phone number, why are you standing outside my store like that?" Lance asked with a judging look in his eyes, crossing his arms over his stomach.

"We didn't get off at the best start. I'm sure you don't like a cop hanging around in your store so I came on half shift, came out of uniform. Plus, I was worried you'd reject my offer over the phone once I passed my name. This way, you can't actually reject me without reason" Pidge explained her thought progress and Lance had to give her a point for that much. He would mostly likely have just hanged up on her if she did call for an order.

"What do you need?" Lance finally asked instead, raising an eyebrow towards her and noticing her brighten up a little when he asked.

"I need a bouquet of daisy's, just daisy's no other flower mixed into the bouquet. She always loved the daisy's that grew in the gardens and all over the town. Now, I know you can't just do a bouquet of small common daisy's that just grown all over the place" Pidge rambled out a little as she fiddled with putting her phone back into her rain coat pocket, making the poncho rustle as she had to slipped her hands under it.
