Paw patrol fan fiction-Ryder and Chase

Part 4

Zuma, in fear, jumped out of his house tackling Chase.

"What are you doing!" Zuma yelled.

Chase showed his teeth at Zuma and growled. Zuma backed up slowly, scared.

"For once can you be a good doggie and leave me alone?!!" Chase replied.

"What are you going to do to Ryder!"

"Oh Zuma, there is so much you don't know...and it should stay that way!"

Both the dog's collars lit up.

In a calm quiet voice, Chase mumbled "Ryder needs us." and put all the suspicious stuff away and walked out to the tower.

Zuma tried to follow but struggled with his hurt paw. Now he knew where all the stuff Chase tried to use was, but who would believe him? Everyone knew Ryder and Chase were "in love" so why would Chase try to kill him? All of this made sense now. What a genius plan. Chase made it seem like he loves Ryder so that he could get away with killing him. Once Ryder is dead, He will take over Paw Patrol giving him power over all of Adventure Bay! There had to be some way to stop him and warn the other pups! But how?

After a long painful walk to the tower, Zuma finally made it. He sat in his position and tried to concentrate on the mission Ryder was telling them about.

"Ok pups, we have an emergency. Farmer Umi's animals are all gone!"

Everyone gasped in fear.

"I'm gonna need all the pups for this. Split up into twos and search all of Adventure Bay."

"Yes sir!" All the pups said.

ZUMA'S P.O.V

I jumped in my car. I got teamed with Marshall which made me kinda happy; he is my best friend. Marshall and I went to the beach. Marshall checked the land while I searched in the water in case any animals had jumped in the ocean.

"Hey, Zuma?" Marshall asked, "Has Chase been acting weird around you?"

I froze for a second and hesitated to answer. Why was he asking this?

"Uh..I don't know...Why?" I answered.

"At night I hear chase get up and go into the tower. I was very suspicious so one night I followed him secretly and saw what he was doing. He made his own mission and acted like we were all there. I kept listening and could hear that the mission was to kill Ryder!"

My eyes got big. Now Marshall knew too! I told him about what happened to me and what chase was gonna do to kill Ryder. He couldn't believe it.

"I never would have thought Chase would want this. I thought he loved Ryder!" Marshall started crying, "We must stop Chase!"

I looked at Marshall. tears ran down his face.

"We will get through this together."
