Ella's P.O.V

"Ella, listen to me. Just wait. Why are you acting so cold?." Derek asks me while grabbing my hand as I am leaving the school.

"What are you up to Derek? And why should I wait for you? Let me go home. I am totally done with people right now. I dont want to beg anyone to help me so if you are helping me just because you feel pity for me then just leave it. I will figure out things on my own." I tell him with an annoyed look on my face.

"Ella, you seriously think that I am just helping you because I feel pity for you then you are wrong because I genuinely want to help you Ella. Trust me and give me a chance." Derek tells me with a serious look on his face.

"I am so sorry Derek, I shouldn't have behaved so rudely with you its just that I am really not liking the way Veronica is reacting whenever I try and talk to her about Paul. It hurts you know given the fact that she is my best friend. I mean how would you feel if Zach would ever give up on you when you need him the most?." I ask him with an upset look on my face.

"Ella, I completely understand you and Veronica is totally wrong this time and I am really mad at her for it. You just forget about Veronica helping you because I am going to help you to move on from Paul and give you the best advice about what you should do. Just give me a chance Ella. I will help you through it." Derek tells me in a promising tone with a slight smile on his face.

"Okay, Derek. Ill give you a chance. But just promise me that you won't give up on me like Veronica and help me with it even though it takes some time or even more." I tell him with a scared look on my face.

"Ella, dont be scared. I am not giving up on you not until you have completely moved on from Paul. Okay. Just trust me." Derek tells me in an assuring tone.

"Okay, I trust you Derek. Now can I go home? Or are you taking me somewhere?. Hehe." I ask him while chuckling.

"Yeah, Ella. Come with me. I really want to take you somewhere, you will love the place very much." Derek tells me while pulling me out of the school.

"Are you serious about it Derek? Or are you just making fun out of me?. Are you really taking me somewhere?." I ask him with a curious look on my face.

"Oh, come on Ella. Don't complicate things and just come with me." Derek tells me while taking a seat in his car and starts his engine.

"Okay." I replied while sighing.

"Now, are you going to take a seat or no? Ella, open the door and sit please. Stop making such confusing expressions on your face. I am not going to kidnap you." Derek tells me while smirking.

"Okay, if you are insisting about it so much then I would really like to go out with you." I tell him while taking a seat in his car with a smile on my face.

"Drama queen." He replied.

"Hehe, lol." I replied while rolling my eyes at him.

After taking a seat in his car, Derek drives away.
Leaving the city behind, Derek takes a road which is outside the city and is very remorse, also it is lonely. I can hardly see any car or motorcycle on this road with us. I get shocked for a second and ask myself to calm down because I can trust Derek obviously.

"Derek, where are we going? I am really scared. Lets go home." I ask him out of curiosity while my hands are shivering in fear.

"Hey, Ella why are you scared? Just trust me. And chill. We are about to reach in 5 minutes. Just wait." Derek tells me while holding my hand to make me feel better.

"Okay." I replied.

We reach the most serene place I have ever seen. Its a very beautiful area covered with greenery on the hill top. After climbing up the hill you can literally see the entire city. It is so peaceful and the environment is pretty relaxing where one can totally forget their sorrows and difficulties in life.
