Chapter 26

Ella's P.O.V

Next morning.

Ugh! I groan. Its morning already, I look at the time and its 7:30 and the sun is literally prickling in my eye. Why are the curtains open? I must have forgotten to close them last night. Silly me. Ah! Shit I have to move my ass out of the bed otherwise I'll be late to school. *Yawn* So, I start walking towards the washroom directly and I freshen up quickly. I come out of the washroom and I choose to wear a grey color jeggings paired with a navy blue color t-shirt. I choose to do a minimal makeup with a little bit of lip gloss. Lastly, I style my hair into a messy bun.

As, I am already very late for school I decide to skip my breakfast and leave the house hurryly.

"Hey, hey Ella. Slow down. Why are you running so much?." Zach asks me with a grin while stopping his car right beside me as I am on my way towards the bus stop.

"Zach, actually I have got really late and I am afraid, I might lose the bus so thats why I am walking fast because after this there is no bus." I tell Zach with an anxious look on my face.

"Ella, don't worry. Come and take a seat in my car we will go to school together. Come on." Zach tells me while chuckling.

"Oh, thank you so much Zach for your help. Yeah, I'll be right there. I was so scared that I might miss my first lecture but thank God I met you on my way. Hush." I tell Zach with a bright smile on my face while taking a seat in his car.

"No worries Ella. Let's go." Zach replied while starting his car engine and we drive away.

"Umm, yeah." I replied with a smile. Also, I continue asking,"How is everything going on between you and Lily? All good?." I ask Zach with a curious look on my face.

"Yeah, Ella. Everything is sorted between us. You and Derek manage to talk to each other right? I am so sorry you guys have to go through such a hard phase like this." Zach asks me with an intense look on his face and worry in his voice.

"Yeah, Zach. We do talk to each other, not much but yeah we will survive this. Thank you so much for your concern though. I am just happy because everything is going good according to the plan and Derek has manged to win Veronica's trust so let's just hope we get with this over soon." I tell Zach with an unpleasant look on my face.

"Yeah, don't worry Ella. Everything will be okay soon just trust Derek with this and I am so delighted that he has you by his side. Keep supporting him okay." Zach tells me with a joyful look on his face.

"Yeah, I trust him Zach and I will always stand beside him through hard times like these. Thank you so much for your compliment though." I replied while chuckling.

"I am glad that he has you." Zach replied with a wink.

In sometime, I and Zach reach school and he parks the car in the parking lot. Afterwards, we enter the school campus and walk towards our main building. Entering the door, I quickly run towards the locker room and I carry the books with me which are important for today's lectures.

RING -- RING -- RINGGG

School bell starts ringing and we all disperse to our respective classes immediately.

Derek's P.O.V

As, I enter the cafeteria Veronica run towards me and she gives me a tight hug.

"Woah, woah. Someone has missed me a lot today. I am glad to see you happy with me." I tell Veronica with sparkle in my eyes and I give her a tight hug too.

"Shh, yeah Derek I have missed you. Lucky you." Veronica tells me while playing with her index finger starting from my forehead and then coming down to my lips. Also she continues saying,"Derek I really want to kiss those soft lips of yours and taste them. Umm. I have missed them so much. Veronica tells me while biting her lower lip and she is staring at mine.
