"HAHA IN YOUR FACE SAPNAP" y/n boasted after beating me. How was she so good? 

"Wha-!?!?!? HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD" I implored.

"Parents were born in Michigan, so when they moved down here they took all their toys with them. Now hold this while I use the bathroom" she breathed, throwing her purse at me. I caught it and she ran off to the restroom. Just as I was about to press start on a different game, y/n's phone started to ring. I fished it out of her purse and looked at the caller ID: Dean Hernandez (LA Times). That must be her interview. I looked around to see if y/n returned but I didn't see her. After a moment of consideration I picked up the phone. This job must be important to her if she was willing to move to LA for it.

"Hello y/n, this is Dean Hernandez from the LA times, I called to interview you." Deans voice said.

"Hi, umm y/n is in the bathroom right now." I said, hoping that me picking up the phone was in fact a good idea.

"Oh, um who am I speaking with?"

"I am her friend Sapnap. She told me about this interview earlier so I answered her phone." I explained.

"Ok Sapnap. Is she going to be back soon? I'm sure you are a lovely person but I called to interview y/n, not one of her little friends."

"Oh um, she is just walking over here. Just one second." I respond.

Your pov

I get done in the bathroom and go to find Sapnap. I see him a few feet away from where I left him, and see that he is talking on the phone. On MY phone! I run over and look at him.

He covers the microphone before whispering "Dean Hernandez from the LA Times."

Oh shit, my interview! I hope Dean wasn't waiting too long. "Thank you" I whispered back and took the phone from him.

"Hi Dean, sorry to keep you waiting." I greeted him while waking out to my car.

"Y/n, its no problem. Anyway I hope you are ready because my boss said he gave me really good questions to ask you." he smiled

...

"Thank you for giving me this opportunity" I said to Dean as the interview came to a close.

"You're welcome y/n, your interview is very promising. I'll have to talk things over with my boss and will call you within the next couple of days to let you know how you did. You are aware that if we want to hire you it will require you moving to LA correct?" he responded.

"Yes I am aware, and willing to move if I am hired." I respond

"Great. And one more thing y/n?"

"Yes?"

"The man who answered the phone, Sapnap? He is a good friend. I would keep him around." He told me, but I already know that.

"I'm trying" I offered back.

He hung up and I let out a sigh of relief. I feel confident in my interview and am already excited to get the call back from him. I walk back inside the arcade and try to find Sapnap. I find him at the mechanical bull with Jack. I get to him just before he is about to start riding it. He presses start and the bull starts to go crazy.

"What is he doing?" I ask Jack.

"I challenged him to see who could stay on the longest" he explained "He has to beat 6 minutes and 13 seconds to win.. Anyway, how did your interview go?"

"I think it went good. They are going to call me in a few days to let me know if I got the job."

"That's good. I hope you get it y/n." he told me "Oh and by the way, Dream wanted to play laser tag when you got back, said that he was going to finally beat you, what ever that means."

I chuckled. "Whenever we go somewhere that has laser tag we always play, and the last three times I've beaten him." I explained.

"Really? Your good at riding dirt bikes AND las-" he started, before being cut off by Sapnap yelling:

"ITS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE!!!" we look over and Sapnap was looking at the timer for the mechanical bull which read 5:57. "How the hell did you get over six minutes Jack?" he said when he got back over to us.

"A magician never tells" Jack joked "anyway Dream is over getting drinks with George and Niki. We should go get them and let them know y/n is back so we can play laser tag."

Sapnap nodded and Jack led us to the restaurant section of the arcade.

"Y/n!" How was your interview?" Niki asked, her being the first one to notice I was back. When she said that, George and Dream pulled up enough chairs for us to sit.

"I think it went smoothly" I said, sitting in one of the chairs "they will call me in a few days to inform me on whether or not I got the job."

"That's good y/n I-" George started

"Yeah yeah, I'm sure you will get the job, but we have more important things to discus: laser tag teams. Pick your first player." Dream interrupted.

I laughed at his eagerness and pondered my choices. "I want George."

"Ok, I choose Jack."

"Sapnap" I say.

"HAH, I get Niki!" Dream exclaimed, we both know she really loves laser tag and that she plays often. While not having Niki on my team is certainly a sacrifice, I took the advantage of his bestfriends away from him. If everything goes according to plan he wont work as well with Jack and Niki.

The teams were decided and we made our way over to the starting room of laser tag to get our vests and guns set up. Once that was completed, the worker explained the rules.

"Basically this works like regular laser tag, except when you are shot you cant fire your gun until you get back to your base and touch the respawn anchor with your gun. You then have a ten second immunity where your gun doesn't turn off if you get shot." the worker said.

"Before I explain the rest of the rules does anyone have any questions about the respawn process?" 

None of us did so they explained the rest of the rules.

...

"The final rule: have fun." the worker finished, opening the door for us. Dream, Niki, and Jack went to the blue side while Me, Sapnap, and George went to the red side.

"Let the laser tag... COMMENCE" a voice boomed.

a/n: as I was trying to figure out what to say in the a/n, my cat wanted to say something, so i will keep her message: zZZZZzzzzzzxxxxcffffhbgnhjjj

also when i said George, Dream ,and Niki were getting drinks i was talking about non alcoholic ones, in this story Dream is 21 and George is 23 but Niki(19) and Jack(19 turning 20) cant legally drink in America. also Sapnap(20) and y/n(18 going to turn 19) are underage

still on vacation so yall might not get an update next time, sorry. dont have time to write much.
