Sapnap pov

I get out of the car and make my way into the house, before I turn around and walk back to y/n's car. I lean my head in the window and say,

"Oh by the way y/n, you should have worn that red dress to dinner." I throw in a wink for good measure. I then stand up and saunter into the house. When I get in I immediately sink to the floor and groan. Why did I have to say that?!?!?! 

"Um Sapnap are you okay?" Dream asks me, looking very confused. I didn't even notice him there.

I just look at him. Am I ok? What did I just do? SHE IS LITERALLY ON HER WAY TO A DATE AND I JUST DID THAT?!?!?!!?!? I fucked up. I fucked up big time.

He sits down next to me in silence.

"Dream I fucked up" I said into his shoulder, not being able to look at him.

"What did you do?"

"I may or may not have said something to y/n." I say

"You say a lot of things to y/n, how is this thing different?" he questions.

"imayormaynothaveflirtedwithher." i mumble, blushing, and very glad he cant see my face.

"What?" he says.

I sigh, and repeat myself, "I may or may not have flirted with her."

"You finally made a move?! Sapnap that's a good thing!" Dream whisper-yelled.

"Nonono its not!" I exclaim, frustrated.

"Wait where is y/n?"

"That's the thing," I start "she is on her way to a date." The timing of my confidence could not have come at a worse time. That stupid red dress.

"What with who?"

I groan. This is the worst part. "Jared."

Dream sits there in silence. I wonder what he is thinking.

Dream Pov

Of course it was Jared. Jared and y/n have been dating on and off up until a few years ago. I never really liked him but he always seemed to make y/n happy and treat her right so I tolerated him. Although hearing they were on a date was strange, they broke off their relationship years ago.

"Fucking Jared." I mutter. I feel bad for Sapnap. It is so obvious that he truly likes her. I mean, how many people would feel bad for making a move on their crush because they don't want to over whelm them for the date they are going on? I don't know anyone else who would feel bad.

Your Pov

I pull out of the drive way and head toward where Jared told me to meet him. Its where we had our first real date, a cute little restaurant on the coast. I am really excited to see Jared. This was his longest trip yet, two months. I really miss my best friend.

I finally get to the restaurant and find Jared. He is already sitting at a  table so I walk over. He doesn't stand up to greet me so I just sit down.

"Hi Jared, its nice to see you!" I say.

"Y/n" he starts "There is something I need to tell you."

"Oh, um okay what is it Jared?" I question, getting nervous.

"I cant see you anymore. We need to cut off communication."

What the hell? This is so sudden! "What why? What is going on?" I know we aren't dating but we agreed to be friends.
