Silvanna woke up alone.
She looked around the room hoping to see Granger. She felt disappointed when she haven't caught a glimpse of him inside.
But then she smelled a very pleasant smell of food.
"Oh my he's cooking!" She felt excited and quickly ran to the kitchen.
There she saw Granger that's still in his pajamas but is wearing her cute pink apron.
Silvanna sneaked behind him and hugged him slowly.
"Fish paste!" Granger jumped back because of surprise. "Silvanna don't you know how to say good morning first before doing that?" He turned to her and pushed her gently.
"I have no time for good mornings, who knows if you'll disappear after I say good morning? It'll be too late for me to hug you right?" Silvanna jokingly told him.
"Dumb girl." He just rolled his eyes and turned back from her to continue what he's doing. He's blushing tho.
Silvanna ignored the insult. She know he didn't mean it.
"So... What's cookin' my love?" She leaned on the kitchen counter and stared at her boyfriend's beautiful back.
"Breakfast shrimp." He answered briefly.
"My favorite!" Silvanna clapped her hands like a child.
There was a moment of silence for the both of them until Granger served their food.
They had some breakfast talks and Silvanna teased Granger alot, as always.
After an hour, Granger already had finished getting ready for work. Silvanna helped him with everything
"I hope you would have a great day Grangy." She said while fixing his necktie. She caressed his cheeks gently after. "But hurry up! You'll be late for work!"
"Alright."
"And be careful on the way okay? I love you!"
She watched as Granger heated up the car. But she thought about something she had missed.
"Oh wait!" Silvanna called out for him. She hurriedly ran to him.
He rolled the car window down.
"I forgot something really important."
"What is it?"
"This." She then leaned to him and gave him a kiss on his lips. "Just remember that I'll be here waiting until you come home. I love you, please be safe."
"I told you to ask for permission." Granger rolled the window back up.
He can see Silvanna's smiling face from the outside. Tho she haven't said anything, he knew that she's sad, or disappointed or hurt.
But his heart is beating so fast and he's too embarrassed to show this side of him.
He watched as Silvanna slowly retreated to their home.
"I'm such a jerk." He whispered to himself. He quickly got out of the car to catch his wife.
He turned her to face him and he can see some tears had rolled down her cheeks.
She quickly wiped it and smiled at him.
"Hi love. Hurry up, you'll be late for work." She told him.
After that, he kissed her deeply to show her that he loves her too. When they parted, both of them are a blushing mess. They can't look into each other's eyes.
"I.. Let's forget about work. I want to spend time with you more for today."
