Silvanna and Granger found their old album in high school.
"Look love! You still wear your glasses in here." She giggled. "You're the only one who looks hot on those glasses, I wonder why." Silvanna clinged on his arms and sniffed his neck. "You smell good too."
"I'm just handsome." He scoffed.
"Yes! Specially on the prom night. That was the time when I confessed my feelings for the handsome Granger."
They reminisced their prom on a romantic saturday night.
Silvanna was wearing a silver dress that matched her hair color.
Granger, also wore silver with blue and gold details.
She can see girls swooning for her crush and his squad that's filled with handsome and charming high school boys.
Alot of girls asked them for a dance, and alot of girls got rejected.
Silvanna on the other hand, can't relate to those girls. She just went to the prom for their attendance record.
She sat there alone. Her friend Guinevere sneaked out of the prom. Her other friend, Fanny is with her boyfriend Claude.
She can't spot Granger anymore either. She would be contented by just watching her crush from afar.
She was left alone and had decided to go home.
Outside the school, she spotted a familiar figure. Of a boy with a silver clothes. He's holding a girl's hands.
Because of the quiet setting, she can hear what they are saying.
"Lesley... I, actually like you. I'm hoping that you're feeling the same way for me."
Silvanna doesn't want to hear more. She left the area quickly. She knew she shouldn't be upset because Granger probably didn't know that she exists. And she's happy for him, because he found someone to love.
But she felt like she had forgotten something.
"My purse!" She whispered and hurriedly ran. When she got back at the place where she saw Granger, she saw him kneeling on the ground... Alone.
"Oh no... He must have been rejected." She thought. Even though she will still have a chance on Granger, she just can imagine how hurtful being rejected is.
"I shouldn't be meddling... But who cares."
She went near him slowly. "Hey." She called him.
The broken guy didn't respond. He remained unmoving.
"I knew what happen."
"Get away from me." He snapped at her.
Silvanna is too stubborn that she didn't care if this guy infront of her would pull out a gun any minute.
"Just to let you know that Lesley isn't the only girl in the world." She sat on the ground beside him, not minding the dirt that could be transferred to her rented dress.
"She's the only girl I want. She doesn't like me. No one likes me." He grabbed his glasses aggressively and threw it on the ground.
Silvanna furrowed her eyebrows.
"No one likes you? What am I then?" Silvanna is known to be straight forward. She always speak what's on her mind.
Granger finally looked at her. "You like me?"
"Yes! Just so you know, you are smart, cool, handsome, a good friend to your friends, popular, you know how to play the violin, you. You are you. I like you because you are Granger."
Granger avoided her gaze and scoffed.
She can't see his face. But she knew something is up with him.
"And hey. You may probably forget about me after this night. But I just want to let you know my name. I'm Silvanna. I had admired you for a long time now. And... Before everything's too late for me. I just want to do this to you."
She grabbed him by his shoulders and made him turn to her.
Just like the arrival of dawn, everything turned slow for the both of them.
Silvanna kissed him under the moonlight. That was both their first kiss.
Granger is shocked at how brave this girl is. Girls around him are shy but this girl... Is very different.
She let his lips go and stood up. She ran away without telling him anything after they kissed.
"And after that... The prince fell inlove with the commoner. He also confessed his feelings for her when they graduated." Silvanna laughed and clinged tighter on his arms.
"You were a dumb girl. You're still dumb even after many years."
"Yes but ofcourse, the smart prince fell inlove with the dumb commoner. Right Grangy?"
"Well... A little." He lied. He loves Silvanna very much.
"And the commoner loves the prince too! That's all that matters. I love you my handsome prince."
"I love you too... Stupid."
