"I don't know, Guinevere... Harith is growing up so fast and my stock money on my bank is running low. I think I should get a job." Silvanna rested her cheeks on her palm.
"Maybe you should, Ms. Silvanna. But all of those aside, you were pretty rich if you survived five years with your money. You got to pay rent, and eat, and pay a hospital bill, that's amazing." Guinevere, her neighbor said while she carried the sleeping 4 years old Harith.
"Yes... My parents were millionaires you know."
"Where are they by the way?"
"They moved to Australia. They thought I was happy here with my ex."
"It's amazing how you managed to not let them know."
Guinevere and Silvanna knew each other when Silvanna asked them for help when she needs a ride to the hospital to give birth.
Ever since, Guinevere and her boyfriend Gusion would visit Silvanna on her apartment everyday just to check her out, and they became friends.
Their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door.
They were in Gusion's house by the way.
"Gusion's here." Guinevere gently handed Silvanna her child and opened the door for her boyfriend.
Gusion came in looking drained. He smiled lightly seeing Guinevere infront of him.
The sight of her is so beautiful, he always praise her inside of his head.
"Guinevere..." He whispered.
Guinevere slapped him out of nowhere. He held his cheek that was harassed while staring at her confused.
"Why do you look so tired huh?" She then hugged him and he hugged her back.
"I just don't like being an assistant anymore luv... It's tiring. I suddenly remembered what dad told me last month on-call."
"Yes? And what did he say?"
"He said he'll give me a high position with high salary on his company. I refused because I don't like it. But after this day, I have decided to deal with his offer."
"Yes? And is there anything wrong?"
"My boss won't let me go unless I recruit a new assistant for him."
"Oh Ms. Silvanna would want it."
"Hey you guys talking about me?" Silvanna popped out of nowhere. They told her about the job and she gladly accepted after hearing $1000 of payment a month.
The following week. Silvanna dressed herself for her first day at work. She applied online for the job and she effortlessly got accepted.
Her pencil skirt really brought out the curves of her thighs.
Guinevere volunteered to take care of Harith while everyone is gone.
"Guinevere, thank you very much for being here."
"I will do everything to be with Harith Ms. Silvanna! We're bestfriends you know." She whispered and then giggled.
Silvanna smiled and waved at Guinevere. She hopped in to Gusion's car and put on her seatbelt.
The car ride was quiet until they arrived at the company's parking lot.
"Here we are Ms. Silvanna. I already told someone about your arrival this day, she can assist you on your first day here."
"Thank you Gusion. I hope to to well on my first day."
"I wish you every luck in the world Ms. Silvanna! Good luck!"
