Catalina's POV

After the boys didn't let me cum, putting me into a grumpy mood might I add, I got dressed. Once I was ready I walked out of the room to be met with the boys pacing and Luca yelling on the phone.

I turned to Christian "what's going on"

Christian finally stopped his pacing to face me. "We are having more rogue problems in our area"

"Again? What the hell?"

Luca got off the phone. "Everything is okay the rogues have been dealt with and no injuries from our pack occurred. However, we need to deal with this issue immediately. So I had Jason call a meeting with some of our head warriors, elders of the pack and Alpha Jaden. Let's head down grab some breakfast and then the meeting"

As we reached the bottom of the stairs, Jason came running in. "Everyone is ready Alphas"

"Already?" Jason nods his head "Love, you can grab breakfast and join us"

"Do you need me to join the meeting. I understand I'm the Luna and should probably be in the meeting, but I haven't seen Carissa or the little boy who got attacked. Is it okay if I visit them instead? If not I totally understand I can visit them after"

I hate lying to them. I know I need to be in this meeting, but my mind is not in the right space. I just need some space to let everything settle in and I need to get my mind straight.

"It's okay Cat, I understand you've been through a lot these last few days. Go get some food, visit the kids and we will catch up with you after the meeting"

After they both gave me a kiss and left to the meeting I made my way to the kitchen. As I grabbed an apple, my mind began to wonder. The dreams have become more intense the more I've gotten closer to the boys and the way I was able to fight off the attacker. He had powers, yet I was able to defeat him. Not only that but once the boys mated me, I woke feeling different. I can't really explain this feeling but I think it has something related to this birthmark thing on me. Although the boys are doing their best to figure out my mark, ultimately I think it's up to me to figure out. It has to deal with my lineage, which I'm assuming is also related to these dreams, fighting ability and new feeling.

"Morning Luna"

My attention was pulled as Jenny and Maisie walked in.

"Morning ladies. How are you both doing?"

"Although we had a tough time recently, I meet my mate, and I'm so happy with him! I'm still in shock that my mate is the Beta"

"I'm glad Maisie! You are going to be an awesome Beta Female! Jenny how are you"

"I'm getting there. I'm just glad that bastard paid and I can't wait until we find the main corporate so we can make him pay"

"We will find him Jenny don't worry. Please let me know if you girls every need anything. We all went through a traumatic event but we have each other."

"Thank you Luna"

We all hugged.

"Now if you excuse me. I'm going to visit the kids"

"Oh we'll come with you"

Well there goes my idea to get some time alone. Maybe after we see the kids I can sneak away. I turned towards the girls and tried to put as much of a sincere smile as possible.

"The more the merrier"

Our walk to the orphanage has been filled with silence. I'm not sure if it's that we are all three going through something, but I have an irky feeling with them right now. Maybe this new feeling and mysterious ability I have is trying to tell me something.

In order for me to not give away a lot of important things, I wasn't told much either. I can, however, tell you that I don't trust one of these girls. I wish I could tell you who, but I can tell you to keep an eye out.

I was drawn out of my conversation with Khalessi when I heard Carissa calling my name and running towards me.

She jumped in my arms. "Ahhh Luna Im so happy you are okay. I ran all the way back and warned the pack"

"You did good Carissa"

As I carried Carissa inside, I couldn't stop thinking about Khalessi's warning.

I looked at Maisie who was hugging a little kid. Do I need to be wary of this girl I barely know, who appeared almost out of nowhere, became my friend and suddenly is now mated to the Beta. Something is a little fishy about that.

Or...

I looked over at Jenny who was talking to one of the caretakers. Or do I need to be wary of the girl who has been there for me since the beginning of the journey. We became fast friends but had it been a lie?
