Catalina's POV

After my brief discussion with Jessica I decided to find the little ones. While on my walk I see Maisie talking with Jenny.

"Hey Maisie I thought Jessica had you doing chores"

"Oh yeah I was supposed to but Jenny pulled me away."

"Jenny here for the rescue as always"

We all started laughing.

"Hey want to walk with me to find the kids"

They both shrug their shoulders and being to walk with me.

"So how do you guys know each other"

Maisie looked over at Jenny. Which caused Jenny to chuckle.

"We actually just meet I saw how she was struggling with Jessica earlier so I came to the rescue"

"Yes which I don't think I've said thank you enough"

"So what's with Jessica why is she so awful"

Jenny rolled her eyes "don't even get me started on that girl"

"Um okay"

"Ah never mind you already got me started on this bitch. So she has always thought she was better then everybody. She grew up being spoiled as fuck by her parents. But she always had a thing for the Alphas and for some reason thought she was going to end up being their mate and Luna. Thank the goddess she isn't. I've never seen her interact with the children and she definitely doesn't know how to have compassion. I think she is definitely jealous of the amazing job you are already doing as Luna and you aren't even officially Luna yet and I think she's also jealous about how you got the Alphas wrapped around your finger"

"Psh they aren't wrapped around my finger"

"Sure whatever you say"

Finally Maisie spook up "you know I've heard cry about how she's supposed to be in your spot because she is goddess sent gift to the world, because you know the goddess definitely sends crazy bratty women as a gift"

We all began to laugh until we heard a scream in the distance which caused us all to take off sprinting.

On our way to the sound Carissa came running up tears down her face.

"Carissa what happened what's going on"

"We were playing and someone creepy showed up and we didn't recognize them and I began to run but he.... he..."

"Okay deep breathes. Where did it happen"

She points down the road.

"Okay can one of you take her back"

"Are you crazy we are going with you" Jenny said

"Someone has to go with her"

"I can go and warn the others" as Carissa said that she turned and ran towards the pack house.

Maisie turned back towards me. "Luna you should go too we can't have you in danger. We also need to wait until we have back up"

"No we don't have time not with a child out there unprotected"

As on que another scream was heard which caused me to take off running.

We finally came to a clearing where I just saw a small figure laying on the ground with no sign of other life. I did a quick look around to double check if anyone is there and saw no one. This lead me to run out to the child.

"Is he alive"

I checked his pulse

"He has a pulse but it's faint we need to get him back"

Suddenly a twig snapping caught all of our attentions.

I looked up to see someone in a hood covering their face.

"Who are you"

As the words left my mouth weird Latin words began to leave his.

I have no idea what he is chanting but whatever it is, is causing me a massive headache.

I turn to see Maisie and Jenny go to attack him but soon falling down holding their head soon passing out.

The pain in my head soon becomes unbearable and I fall to me knees. Black spots appear in my vision and I see boots walk closer to me, all I can think is how much I screwed up and how I might die and not get to see Christian and Lucas face again.

I'm so sorry it took so long to update and sorry it's not super long. Life has been crazy but I have a week break from my masters so I'm hoping I can write more.
