Golems
Large magical creations, built primarily from metal, but can also be made from wood or stone. They follow the orders of the magician who creates them without question, and occasionally go berserk when their creator dies. In this event, they need to be hunted down and destroyed, as they can wreak havoc on towns and homes.

Y/N stood, still as a statue, next to the city's main gate. The quest would be taking them a ways away from the city, enough that it would be night long before the got back, meaning they needed basic camping supplies. Megumin had promised to meet him at the main gates the next day.

Well, she had promised to meet him ten minutes ago. He sighed, and continued scanning  the crowd for his witch friend. Suddenly, two adventures stopped in front of him, staring up at him. "Did they build a new statue?" One of them asked, waving their hand in front of his helmet. "I didn't hear anything about it. Whoever built it did a good-Gah!" They jumped back as Y/N's head snapped towards them, and hastily made their way away from him. He couldn't help himself from laughing at them as they hurried away.

"Sorry for making you wait!" A voice shouted from beside him, and a familiar black witches hat entered his vision. Megumin stopped right in front of him, panting. "I had to...Gather some stuff.." she said, stopping every few moments to breathe. He gave her a thumbs up, and glanced towards her rucksack. It was small, and hastily slung over her shoulders. Even if they weren't going to be outside the walls for long, she was packing quite light.

"You....Don't have much." He said. She glanced towards her bag, then back at him, rubbing her head sheepishly. "I don't have much in the way of funds, at the moment..." She sighed. "I was hoping this quest would help me to get better equipment."

He nodded, understanding her plight. In his early adventures, he had little funds, forcing him to sleep up in trees, damp caves, and piles of dirt and leaves. Anywhere out of danger and the elements. He patted his pack. "Don't worry. I always pack extra." He said turning around. As the duo left, he could already hear the rumors starting, and the staring eyes of the other adventurers. "I bet he's just using her for bait." One said. "Or a pack mule..." another whispered. He forced their words out of his mind and continued on the path.

Some time had passed since they left the city, it's safe walls of stone giving way to fields of grass and rolling hills. These lowlands were a common spot for hunting, as small game ran rampant through these hills, forced out of the forests by....Larger beasts. Hunting parties were spotted occasionally, either wandering the hills or moving along the well worn path  Y/N and Megumin walked on.

Y/N pondered what this sight must have looked like to passerby. A massive knight, wielding a tower shield and a poleaxe, and a small witch. He chuckled. Certainly an interesting pair. "What's so funny?" Megumin piped up beside him. He dismissed her with a wave of his hand. "Ok...." She looked down the path for a moment, watching some small animals hastily scurry about. "Sure are a lot of animals around here..." she muttered. "They're forced here." Y/N spoke up. She looked at him quizzically. "By what?" She asked. "Large beasts. Especially now that it's...hmm.." he stopped for a moment.

"Now that it's what?" She pressed. He looked down to her. "Mating season." He said blankly. Megumins face flushed red, and she hastily turned back towards. "O-Oh..." was all she could mutter out. They walked on for a bit in silence, before Y/N suddenly stopped, and stuck his arm out in front of Megumin. "What's the-" "Shhhh." He said, motioning for her to be quiet, then pointing down the path a ways.
