my baby cousin was coming round and i have to babysit her because my mum is going to work.

just my luck, can't wait.

"no, it's fine! im sure we'll have great fun!" i lied to my aunt, whilst i stared down at lily, my cousin.

she was 4 and had the brains of a teenager, she is and always will be incredibly annoying.

i bidded my farewells to my auntie and uncle and closed the door.

"y/n, y/n, y/n!" lily shouted at me.

"yess?" i ask, bending down to her eye level.

"can we make some cookies?" she says, pushing her bottom lip down, .

"okay! come on!" i sigh, i grab my phone and text noah.

i shoved my phone back into my pocket and guided lily to the kitchen.

"who were you texting?" lily asks, looking up at me.

"noah, you know noah. don't you?"

"the funny one who you kiss all the time. yeah, i like him!" lily claps, making me sigh.

"i wouldn't say that, but okay." i say, grabbing a bowl and getting the ingredients out.

a few minutes later, the doorbell rung.

lily run to the door before i could.

"noahhhh!" she says and i see noah pick her up and wrap his arms around her tiny body.

"hiya lily! what you baking?" he replies, brushing her hair away from her face.

"cookies! me and y/n are going to put chocolate chips and sprinkles in them as well, aren't we y/n?" she looks back at me.

"indeed we are." i nod, walking towards the two.

noah places lily on the ground and. pecks my lips before greeting me.

"come on! stop being kissing and bake cookies with meee!" lily whined, tugging our arms.

"ready to taste them, lily?" i ask, noahs hands were wrapped around my waist, as i picked her up to sit on the kitchen counter.

"yes yes yes!" she replied, enthusiastically

we bit into the cookies in sync and lily clapped.

they did taste quite good. considering we made it.

"mmmm! that's delicious!" noah says, smoothing my head and high-fiving lily.

"thank you for looking after her, you two." my aunt says.

"no worries!" i smiled

"it was nice meeting you, noah."

"you too!" noahs face lightens up at the sentence.

he brings his hand to my waist and pulls me close to him.

"well ive got to go, enjoy your evening guys! and don't do anything i wouldn't do!" she says, before turning on her heel and leaving.

"thank you for coming." i say, kissing his lips gently.

"you're welcome, now movies?" he says, smiling.

"sure."
