I overlooked the clear blue water front while stepping onto the old rusty green Gazebo. Gently rubbing my thumb in a circular motion on the stone in my pocket. I had picked up a few on my way here. I took it out of my pocket and excitedly looked to the water below as the stone smacked it. The sound of the splash echoed, like it always does. I don't know what it is but the feeling it gives me is indescribable. I needed this once again. It's rough at Bright Horizons. You would think that the name would fit the place, but no, it's horrible. I feel like I'm in some sort of never-ending nightmare in that place.

"I just want to escape," I said out loudly.

"Okay Dagi, relax you got this, breathe and hum the tune" I said aloud.

Whenever I'm overwhelmed I hum a soft familiar tune that's been stuck in my head since I could remember. I always just assumed it was a song that was sung to me when I was a baby by my birth family. It surprisingly calms me down in any dire or chaotic situations that I get myself into. Quickly I jumped off of the Gazebo looking back to see if it was still in good shape.

"I'll give it a few more months," I chuckled.

I ran up the tall freshly cut green hill, and straight to the creaking old steps into the big gray prison aka Bright Horizon.

My body wasn't even through the doorway yet when I heard "IT" screaming at me.

"ADAGIO" IT bellowed!

"Have you lost your mind child, I specifically told you over and over to stay away from the Gazebo" IT screamed.

A strand of her straight thinning black hair graciously fell to the floor as she shifted about furiously. A negative aura always filled the air whenever she was around. I could tell that she was troubled and agitated and it wasn't about the gazebo. IT was constantly losing hair daily because she always stressed about us not being propper young ladies. We always have to take table etiquette classes in the afternoons, mind our manners, speak proper English and always keep ourselves as a lady would.

"Since you don't know how to listen you'll feel" IT quickly went away into her office.

I looked around the room to see who was there and watching the little episode that just took place. To my surprise the room was empty. Which was odd because the sitting room was always full during this time of the day. I don't understand how the other girls can bear it. Sitting in front of a tv screen for so long mindlessly not doing anything. It's very odd to me. I for one would never do it especially in this tacky room, and don't get me started on the smell. I winced as I scoped the orange and yellow striped room. I'm not sure who gave her the okay in decorating this way but honestly, it's really not my problem. I closed my eyes and let out a long sigh before I scanned the room once more. I noticed that it was cleaner than usual. Swiftly I ran into the various rooms, the foyer, kitchen, dining area, library and bathrooms were all spotless. How could the house be cleaned in that short amount of time? I walked over to the hall where the Grandfather clock stood and checked the time, 2:48pm.

"That's odd, I've only been out there for 5 minutes not hours" I said out loud.

Still with a puzzled expression on my face I went to the bedrooms. As the door swung open an explosion of noise followed. All the girls were bustling around trying to make the room spick and span.

Confused, I asked "Uhmmm, what's happening right now?"

There were loud gasps and then a deafening silence.

"Oh my God, I thought you were IT!" Katie exclaimed.

"Whew you almost gave us all a heart attack Dagi" Sadie replied.
