Ayana's Pov
"Mom.. Hey mom wake up." The small little shakes course through my body, it wasn't the shakes that seemed to be trying to wake me up, the voice so faint fading in and out like my ears were ringing. I could feel the sweat decorating my skin in deep increments."Mom!" That one shout was half what had woken me up behind my eyes my life flashed right before my eyes right when the blade struck through my chest through my heart. My eyes snapped open quick with a sharp gasp leaving me. My hands shot out to grip into the bed, my heart hammering away my eyes wide looking around at everything, my breathing was still quick hearing the obvious loud snores pressed onto the back of my neck.
Even that about couldn't have woke him up. I squinted slightly at the candle like slightly relaxing a bit.
"Rúne? What are you doing up, the sun isn't out yet." I tried my best to whisper hushly. Ivar alone slept like the dead. And the twins well after a long night of eating the two ten year olds could fall out before anyone knew.
"Yeah... Couldn't really sleep had to much in my mind... Can we talk a quick walk?" I studied her eyes for a moment. My had her growth flash before my eyes in three years she had grown into such a beautiful woman. Her complex with her beautiful skin matching my own, and those gorgeous blue eyes of her.
"Yeah hold on." The little nightmare still flashing before my eyes I manage to shimmy out of Ivar's monster hold, his breathing went back to normal once he settled down, my feet touched the cold floor pushed my dress back down it had rolled up in the process of my little sleep struggle.
I walked across the entire surface of the place slipping on my shoes with ease, slipping some furs over my shoulders, watching Rúne doing the same in the process.
I held open the door for her, watching her duck under my arm the cold blast of air hitting inside once she set the candle to the side.
"You were struggling a lot in your sleep mom are you okay?"
"Just a lot of nightmares... Really vivid ones."
"Perhaps they are visions mother."

It was a peaceful walk out to the forest, the morning was still rising but the cold was what caught my attention. Rúne had taken a seat on the fresh grass her eyes watching the large lake with interest."Winter will be here soon," it seemed to snap her attention away for a moment looking at me with interest.
"How can you tell?" She asked me a smile growing across her face.
"You can sense it in the air actually, the colder mornings, the light dew on the grass. It will be a beautiful winter." I messed with my hair for a moment before finally what she seemed to be hiding slipped out.
"I think I'm in love with Sky... Me and him are together mother." I cracked a faint smile my eyes reflecting back on the water.
"I know sweetie, I've known for a while, back then you two were a little too young to understand, I'll support you as long as he respects you." I turned back to stare at her.
"A mother knows this things. Bring him by to meet me first when your father is busy teaching the boys hunting, it will ease him in before he meets the crazy that is your father." A soft laugh bounced out from her throat, she looked back towards me.
"He's a really nice guy, hard working, I haven't told him that technically I am a princess, he's very scared of dad." I brushed my fingers over my cheeks a few times.
"He should be a little, I don't think Ivar has killed anyone in years. Sometimes I know he has blood lust." I muttered more to myself.
"You always seem to know what I am thinking mom, do you read my mind." A small chuckle left me giving her a small shake to my head no.
"Its more like... You are easy to read darling, like an open book, it's not necessarily bad, but bad if an enemy can read your every move." I sat down on the grass next to her a single grunt leaving me tucking my dress under me to shield me from some of the cold. The silence seemed to drift between the both of us before she spoke.
"Mom I know something is troubling you, what is it? Is it the boys again?" I was quick to shake my head side to side.
"You'd actually be really surprised... They are angels sometimes when they help me cook, or clean. Even your father is been a blessing since I accepted being his again." My eyes shifted down my fingers slowly playing with the ring that had stayed on my fingers since.
"But something isn't settling right in my stomach, and I always trust that feeling. Just something your father told me a while back." I shifted my eyes back across the lake a few times.
"Your nightmares right?" She looked worried for a moment.
"Correct... Your dad said his mother had many nightmares and dreams that sometimes were fortold visions, I think it's somewhat odd I've been having more nightmares, and dreams even mid day black outs." I never really talked about it out loud in a while.
"I keep seeing my death... It's so clear in my head, the blade entering my chest the taste of blood. The screaming its a like a battle. I don't think it's a clear obvious thing but perhaps my death is near." I saw Rúne's eyes grow wide feeling her move closer to me before she was grabbing at my arm tightly.
"Mom... Don't say that please... Death can be a sign of many things especially in dreams." I carefully hugged her quickly wiping her tears away resting my head on top of hers.
"Darling.. It's okay alright... Death isn't something you should fear because you can't live forever."
Wasn't gonna tell Ivar about the dreams just giving him an excuse to try and kill anyone he saw.
