CHAPTER ONE

Love. What is it?

You care for someone and listen to them, trust them, be there for them even if they don't want you to be there, and many other things.

Love to me is bullshit, it hurts me, it hurt so much.

The only man I love is my little man, Parker. He hates it when I call him little man or my baby boy, but I love them. I have many more nicknames for him like Parky, little dude, I think that it.

I still live in the same apartment never moved out like why do I have to, I mean, he messed up he moves out.

I'm not saying his name because if I do I would literally flip out and probably break that persons nose for saying his name to me.

I don't know why I gave his last name to my son and it's stupid. I mean it's his son too and also he hasn't seen him for five fucking years.

Okay enough let go start the story.

"Mama, I'm going to be late for school!" Parker yelling from downstairs with his backpack on his back and his ready to go.

Meanwhile, I am in the middle of doing my makeup and I told a quick look at my watch on my wrist.

7:45 am

"Oh shit I have to be quick" I whispered to myself.

I quickly did everything and checked that I didn't forget and put it in my purse.

"Sunglasses, glass, wallet, chapstick, car keys," I said then walked out my bedroom door.

I walk downstairs and see Parker on the couch waiting for me.

"Finally, you're here," Parker said. He gets up off the couch and on his way to the door.

I opened the car door to the Tesla that I brought a week ago. A yes I still have that Range Rover that Tayler got me for my early 19th birthday. Miss that guy.

Parker went into his car seat and I buckled him up, I close the car door and walked into the driver's seat. Then I got in, I started my car and started driving

"Mama," Parker said holding his Teddy bear tightly.

"Yes, Parky" I answered him.

"I'm scared." He said pouting his lips looking out the car window.

I can understand that he's scared because it's his first day of school it can be scary.

"Everything is gonna be okay, Parker" I smiled at him through the review mirror.

We arrived at the school and I found parking and parked my car. Once I got out of my car to open the car door to where Parker is sitting.

"Come on little guy let's go," I said. He just shook his head and refused to get out of the car.

"Look, I know you scared but, maybe you'll make friends and probably enjoy it" I explained.

He shook his head again. I sighed.

"If you have a good day today and make friends, I can take you to get some ice cream after school, okay" he gave the biggest smile.

"Okay," he immediately got out of the car.

Well, that worked.

After I dropped off Parker at school I was going to drive back home then suddenly my phone's ringing.

"Hello?" I said after I pressed to answer.

"Hey girl, I'm getting coffee you coming?" Liza said begging me to come to see her.

I was gonna go home and make my own coffee but.... Ah, fuck it.

I arrived at the cafe Liza told me to go, I parked my car and walked inside. I smiled and waved at her as I saw her.

I walked over to the table that she is sitting at and sat across from her.

"So, how's life?" She asked sipping on her coffee.

"It's good, I mean I'm kinda sad that my little Parker is all grown up now and he's going to school now and I'm just-ah," I said started to ramble.

"It's okay, plus he's only going to be gone for six hours. Come on let's have fun take your mind off things" she said, she gets up and reaches for my hand.

"I didn't finish my-" I grabbed my muffin and my coffee and we went out the door.

We went to my car and she told me that we're going to her place which I immediately agreed to because I never actually went to your place before it's gonna be fun.

It's about a 10 minutes drive to her place and the whole drive we talked about stuff, laughed, played some music.

We are having her place and we went inside.

"Wow your place so cool," I said standing there with my jaw dropped to the ground.

I sat on the couch making myself comfortable when suddenly someone came out of the kitchen.

"Oh, Liza I didn't know you had company," The guy said then waved and smiled at me.

And I did the same thing back to him.

"That's my boyfriend," she said.

I looked at her shocked.

"Really? I thought we had something." I said trying to keep a straight face.

They started each other then looked back at me confused.

I started laughing hysterically.

"I'm just joking I mean am I yeah? I am, I am joking" I said.

Two hours go by I'm sitting in the middle of them watching some Disney movies while eating ice cream.

After that, it was already noon at night and I arrived home safe and sound. I will upstairs to my room did my nighttime routine then went to bed.
