If that boy didnt get ugly real quick I was going to lose it. Even the brief touch we had as I handed him Tate's leash was enough to drive me wild.
Imagine if he would just kiss you. . I rolled my eyes and started up the stairs towards the deans office. I wish youd hush. Im not good enough for him. He is just being nice. Probably because his daddy said so.

I was getting real tired of telling that voice to behave. I needed sleep I guess. I knew I wasnt crazy so the stress of moving was making me hear things. Right?

I knocked on the deans door.

"Come in Keira."

I paused. What the hell? How did he know?

I slowly opened the door.

"Hello sir. Umm how did you know it was me?"

He laughed." Dont worry dear. My son told me you were coming. Its nice to finally meet you. Im so happy you accepted the scholarship. Its not often we get people like you around here."

I raised my eyebrow. People like me?

He got up from his desk and went to a mini fridge.

" Im referring to your obvious brilliance dear. Would you like a soda? I only have off brand sadly. Small budgets and what not."

"Oh no thank you. I was hoping to get my classes done if you have time."

He opened a can of soda and returned to his desk.

"Ahh yes. Actually I took the liberty of making a schedule for you. Ofcourse you can change it if you like. Just let me find it.."

He began rummaging around in his desk until he finally pulled out a handful of papers.

"Here we go my dear. I also added some info about a couple of clubs I think you may enjoy. Take a look."

I took the papers from him and looked at my class schedule. It was full but doable.

He cleared his throat and when I looked up I noticed where Caden got his looks from. David was just an older some what less muscular version of Caden. Not unattractive by any means but not like Caden. He had the same dirty blonde hair. Cut in a much more suitable way ofcourse.

"Is it suitable for you Kiera?"

"Oh yes. Thank you so much."

He smiled. "I printed out your book list for you and wrote down what you need to login online. If you dont mind dear I have alot of work to do before the semester starts."

I nodded and walked to the door. "By the way, you can trust my son. I know most parents say these things but Caden is a good man. And he would do anything you asked of him. Have a good day!" I couldnt help but grin like a dumbass at the mention of Caden. I believe I may give him a chance. It was about time I had my first relationship. Why not have it with a good ol country boy that liked bacon and my singing? Couldnt get much better could it?

Even though I was looking at my book list as I walked I was actually thinking of Caden and his beautiful eyes that seemed to look right through me . And then all be damned I walked right into him.

" Oh shit. Sorry. Got sidetracked. " I waved the papers around to make my point.

He shrugged. " Its ok. I dont mind you running into me."

And he did the sexiest thing ever. He winked at me. It was all I could do to hide my involuntary shudder.

"Well im trying not to make a habit of it. Can we go to the book store? Id like to go ahead and get these."

"Well of course. Whatever you want."

Damn. David wasnt kidding.

" Well good sir shall we be on our way?"

I copied his earlier action and offered my arm. It totally felt like we was going to see the wizard of oz. But I liked It.
