Killing my bestfriend's dad

Simonès  pov

It had been a while since Adrian left. I was getting more bored by the hour and the doctors said I couldn't leave till tomorrow.

Where was my dad anyway?

I took my phone and called him but he didn't answer. Strange.

I tried calling Adrian but he didn't answer too what was going on?

I soon fell asleep.

I woke up and the doctors finally released me my dad came to pick me up but I was in absolutely no mood to talk to him and Adrian hadn't called me back.

Maybe he was freaked out by what I said to him. His loss I hadn't yet paid him anyway.

I got home and headed to the shower. My dad had tried to talk to me earlier but I wasn't having it.

I took my shower and then went into my room packing up my things.

"Honey what are you doing?" He asked popping up at my door.

"I'm going back to my apartment. It's finally done. I received the email yesterday."

"What's the rush? Can't you stay for tonight? "

I didn't reply him as I continued to pack.

"Woah I don't remember you coming with all these clothes."

"I didn't. I'm not coming back here ever again. "

"Honey what's wrong? Is it about Dee or about Mr. Brown?"

"No dad. It's you. What kind of psycho dad sees their daughter almost die and doesn't even go to the hospital to see them?"

"I- i was scared honey."

"Scared? You were scared?" I scoffed. "Just like you were with mom huh?"

"We both know your mother walked out on us."

"On us? She walked out on you but since oh you were too scared of her and I having a bond you just had to take her away from me."

"Don't speak to me like that young lady. You don't know what you're saying honey, you're all I have."

"Really? Because I'm starting to see the big picture and I'm very sure I'm not 'all you have'."

"A lot is going on right now. My best friend has been missing for over a week."

"So he's more important than your daughter?"

"I have to be there for them- they- she just lost her husband and Dee doesn't have a father in her life."

"That's where you were?" I screamed.

"I knew you had that blonde haired friend of yours, Adrian but who do they have?"

"You are my dad not hers. I seriously can't believe you."

"But Ella-"

"That bitch had the nerves to accuse me of killing her husband and you're going to be by her side. Haha dad is finally playing the fucking perfect father deal with the Browns."

"Don't speak to me like that." He warned.

"I hope to see you die in my face one day. That way you'll know how much hatred and disgust I have for you."

I rolled my bags towards the door then I turned back and finished my sentence.

"And let me make this clear. If I find out that you're having any funny business with that bimbo Ella, I'll make sure Mr. Brown's missing file points to you as the major suspect and you know I will."

I slammed the door after and headed straight to my car. Thank God I'd cleared any Mr. Brown related thing from my room.
