Grayson:
I took a deep breath, and ran my fingers through my hair.
"Yes your Honor." I began "Okay so, I was downstairs when I heard Cami crying my name. I ran upstairs and I saw her. There on the floor, crying I started freaking out. I asked her what happened" I wrapped my arm around her waist "She told me that Malachi punched her" my arm wrapped around her tighter. My voice I started to tear up "A-and I r-ran up the stairs into the r-room I s-sa-" the judge cut me off.
"WHY ARE YOU CRYING MR. DOLAN?"
"WHY AM I CRYING?" I yelled "BECAUSE I WASNT THERE FOR HER OKAY? IF I WERE THERE, SHE WOULDNT BE IN PAIN. IM A FAILURE!"
"Babe its okay." Cami whispered to me.
"NO CAMI, ITS NOT OKAY!" I punched the podium
"MR. GRAYSON IF YOU DO NOT CALM DOWN, WE WILL HAVE YOU EVACUATED!" The judge yelled.
"FI-" I started, but I stopped when I noticed Cami was walking out of the court room.
"Recess?" I asked
"Sure Mr. Dolan, recess."
I ran out of the court room and found Cami in the lobby. She was sitting on a bench, crying her heart out. Her head was in her hands, I walked over to her and got in one knee. I wrapped my arms around her. I expected her to pull away, but she didn't. She put her head in the crook of my neck and just cried really hard. I rubbed her back.
"Baby, what's wrong?"
"I LOVE YOU GRAYSON! AND YOU ARE GONNA SCREW EVERYTHING UP!" she said as she placed her hands on my shoulders.
"I... I just feel like its all of my fault."
"WHAT GRAYSON?"
"ITS ALL OF MY FAULT THAT YOU GOT HURT!"
"GRAYSON BAILEY DOLAN, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART. AND ITS NOT YOUR FAULT!"
"WELL WHO'S IS IT CAMI?!"
"ITS MINE GRAYSON! ITS MINE BECAUSE I KISSED ETHAN AND THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF I DIDNT KISS ETHAN!" She slapped her hands over her mouth.
"Y-you what?"
"I'm sorry Grayson." She started crying.
"Cami.. Tell me you're lying, baby!" I squeezed her hands and kissed them.
"I'm telling the truth Grayson, I messed up Grayson, and I am sorry."
