My friends woke me up again this morning, and I did my usual routine. Then we hopped in the elevators and went down to breakfast. When I looked down at the mass of girls I saw the purple group munching on their food, the green munching on their food and some blue were walking from the breakfast line to their section to eat. I was one of the first in line for grey so I got my food pretty quickly. My friends and I sat down. "When are you getting that thing off?" Smack said as she poked my cast as if it were some kind of alien. "I don't know, but I'm supposed to have a doctor appointment today." I said as I ate my bruised apple. "When?" Lemmon questioned. "Don't know but-" I was interrupted by the intercom announcement. "ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION! Direct your attention to the morning announcements!" The voice instantly shushed everyone. "Attention everyone! When my men expected the bathrooms, the green bathroom was DISGUSTING!" Out of my peripheral vision I saw a few people flinch. I rolled my eyes. "The sweeping in the blue dorms looked like it WASN'T EVEN DONE!!!" Nearly everyone flinched that time, except for Smack and I of course. He screamed into the microphone for what seemed like forever. Then he made a few more announcements and then the intercom turned off and we all went back to eating. I put my apple core down and just played with my oatmeal. It looked like bird poop and there was a brown hair in it! How am I supposed to eat that?! One by one groups of girls got up to go to work, and again I was left alone in the big room.

I decided I would just walk around the building so I can just see some more of it. I was looking through a small window in a door when a man's voice called out to me. I turned and Adam was walking toward me. "You can't look in there, important meeting. And where have you been? We've been looking for you!" He said as he grabbed my non-injured wrist and walked briskly. I struggled to keep up. "What do you mean 'we've'? Where am I going?" I asked. We quickly got in an elevator and he pushed the top floor button. Oh crap! Is Creepy Grin mad at me?! Did he hear Val and I talking?! "You have a doctor appointment today." He said. I calmed down then immediately I freaked out again. I hated doctor's offices! It smells like alcohol and death! They have a bunch of stuff laying around and they all look dangerous. The doors opened and we stepped out. We, again, ran briskly down a hall, then we made a few sharp turns. He opened the white doors for me to go through. "Thanks" I said. The same nurse who put the cast on me and tried to get me to sign a contract allowing her to kill me walked up to me and said, "Follow me." So I followed her into a small white room similar to the one I was in last time. She got together what I'm guessing was my file and a few other tools, one of which looked like a mini saw. She came back in the room and explained what we were doing today. "So today I'm just gonna take your cast off and look at your wrist. We're gonna clean it, then we'll put a new cast back on." "I thought you weren't supposed to take a cast off until you're sure the wound is healed." I said. "Well, Ya but your wrist isn't broken. It was just badly bruised." She turned around to get something off the tray and turned back around with the saw in hand. "Ummm... Wha-wha- what are Ya gonna do wi-with tha-that?" I barely squeaked out. "Oh relax, I'm just cutting off the cast." She said nonchalantly. "How are you gonna know when to stop sawing?" I asked. "When you scream." She said like it was no biggie. "WHAT?!" I screeched. She started to laugh, "I kid of course..." She said while laughing. "NOT funny." I said feeling stupid that I fell for that. She started sawing into the cast. "Haven't you ever had a cast before?" She questioned. "No, I've never been in a situation to have a cast." I said bitterly. She stopped talking after that and I only heard the buzzing of the saw.

The nurse updated my files, refilled my prescriptions and then escorted me to the lobby where Adam was waiting for me. He was wearing a grey shirt that read, "Hollister". He wore dark denim jeans and was leaning against the wall looking around, clearly bored. I walked over to him. "Hey." I said. He looked down at me, "Hey, ready to go?" He asked. "Sure" and we walked out, he held the door and I again said thank you. "New cast?" He asked after a while. "Ya" I said as I continued walking toward the elevator. "How much longer do you have to wear it?" "About a month longer." I supplied. He nodded as we entered the elevator. It was silent as I looked out the glass and saw girls bustling to get things done. The elevator stopped and we walked to my dorm. Did I want to see Val today? If I did I'd have to say so now, or else I'll be stuck in here till lunch. Nah, she kinda threw a lot at me yesterday day... I need to figure it all out. I stepped in and Adam pressed his palm to the small of my back to lead me in. "I know where my bed is I don't need you guiding me to it." I said. I shook his hand off and I walked to my bed and sat down. I grabbed my journal and tried to start writing. But where do I start! So much has happened! I bit on my eraser head, something I've always done while I write. I look up and Adam is still there staring at me. "Ummm... Hello?" "Oh sorry. I just wanted to know... How old are you?" He asked. His green eyes looked into my blue ones. "I don't think I'm supposed to tell you." I said as I looked back down at my paper. "No, you can tell me." He urged on. "You can guess. My group is from 16-18" I looked back down at my paper. "Well I originally thought you were 18... But you're WAY too immature to be 18." He said trying to pass off a laugh as a cough. "Hey! I'm mature! You don't even know me!" I argued back. "Actually I do." He said matter of factly, he smiled winningly. "No you don't." But it came out like a whisper. "I'm gonna guess 17 then." He said confidently. "You think you know me, but you don't even know how old I am. Ridiculous!" I scoffed. "You're 16?!" He scanned my body. "You don't look 16!" "Wow! Thank you for being creepy! You can leave now!" I heard the doors automatically close and I went back to writing.

ADAM'S POV
-------------
I had just gotten that girl to the doctor's office and might I say she can run fast. She's the kind of girl who can defend herself. Gotta figure out her name though. Now I'm just waiting for her to come out of the room so I can leave this place. She came back out and we were on our way. The hallway chat was minimal and awkward. I looked out the elevator like she was, until I tried to make conversation with her. I asked how long until she got her cast off and she said about a month. Trying to talk with this girl is hard! She doesn't try to keep ANY conversations going! We finally got to her dorm. I touched her back to lead her in, but she got all snippy and shook me off. She sat on her bed and started writing. She looked up, CRAP! I've been here TOO long! I tried to cover it up by questioning her age. I guessed 18 then 17 but guess what! She's 16! I was shocked and she got mad at me... For what?! Girls are confusing. So I just left and went to Jay's office.
